Brainwashing our youth

Baltimore spends almost more per student than any other place in the US. The schools are among the worst.

All that money is being wasted. I would wager a **** load of it is being skimmed off the top to enrich “administrators” and politicians.

THANKS TRUMP!!!

The US as a country spends more per pupil than any country on earth and we are falling further behind every year. 80% or more of kids graduate HS and are unemployable or still need remedial classes in college.

How will public education improve?

At what cost will our air/water get cleaner? How has science been ignored?

Anything will be better? $200 tax to buy a gun will be better? $20 tax on ammo will be better? What’s he going to do that’s better?
The abuse and misuse of "school of choice" and "voucher" programs will be greatly reduced. Money will not be diverted from public schools into private schools.
Whatever cost is warranted. Give me a break, Trump and Trumpers have been science deniers since day one.
Pretty much whatever reduces the number of guns that so easily get into the hands of criminals is good by me.
Plus all of those guns that fire x rounds in y seconds.

What is x and y? Give me some numbers so we can talk about your ignorance. Some of the early rumors are just taxing certain guns and magazines that hold a certain amount of ammo. What does a money grab actually fix? Kinda like the Paris accord , carbon taxes, etc.....it’s just about money and nothing changes.

We spend a much smaller amount compared to defense and health care expenditures per capita than those countries. If you're looking for wasteful spending, start with those two.

So you have nothing except “my team won”.

You sound like a child trying to argue why they don’t need a bedtime.

Lol. What a deflection.
What.
You nuts always try to claim that we spend more for less with education.
It's an even greater disparity when you look at health care and defense....but the same people usual ignore those two.

My team did win, I have nothing to cry about. You're the one throwing the hissy fit over not being able to get the answer you're so obviously fishing for.

I’m not throw a hissy fit. I accept the fact that “your team won”. I‘m just trying to understand why you choose to be on that team. So far you have yet to explain it.

How do you grade one versus the other? We are still a free country. Many countries that have free healthcare and better education are able to do so because we provide a blanket of protection for them too. No matter how you slice it if you compare apples to apples (education to education) we are falling further and further behind. It’s funny you want us to join the Paris treaty where we are disproportionately screwed yet make the claims you make on other subjects.

I've explained it multiple times. You just don't like my explanation, that's on you.

Rejoin the Paris Agreement.
Have a DOE that actually works in support of public education instead of trying to tear it apart.
Have an EPA and national policy that actually takes environmental issues seriously and acknowledges climate change and the science behind it.
Gives us a better shot at rational and reasonable gun legislation.
A tax code more in favor of the middle class.
Address the student loan crises.

Most importantly he will return a little dignity to the office and not be a national embarrassment.
He will bring the country closer together rather than intentionally tear it further apart.
- Paris agreement doesn’t do anything except waste US taxpayer money. What is the point of it?
- DOE is a useless bureaucracy that you yourself have been critical of in the past. Public education is a failure for several reasons and what does “supporting them better” mean?
- EPA so what proposals do you believe in to “take climate change seriously”?
- Gun legislation the way you want it will never happen and is just a feel good do-nothing proposal anyway
- tax code in favor of middle class has never been in the left’s agenda. They want to make everyone paying over $50k (the “rich”) to pay for the entirety of people who never pay taxes
- there is no “student loan crisis” except for idiotic people who don’t understand how contracts work or that they don’t really need useless degrees but this falls back on the failure of public education again
- bring the country closer? We shall see on that one. I know of several law enforcement, military, business men and women, Christians, gun owners, and healthcare workers that would disagree with you
