as much as I like her, I'm not going to vote for her. She's done nothing since 2008 to increase her understanding of the the world outside of the US. She never should have resigned as governor of Alaska. She and Rick Perry could have formed a powerful axis of governors of oil producing states to counter the insane energy policy of Obama.

If it boiled down to Palin vs Obama, would you vote for Obama?

If she had stayed as gov of Alaska, do you think she could have preventd the EPA from delaying the Shell oil lease for so long that Shell abandoned the project?? I doubt it.

The latest from Obama's EPA:

FWIW, I hear the same argument you make from my friends who happen to be hard core democrats.

I had a write in vote for POTUS for the 2008 Election. If faced with a Palin-Obama ticket, probably going to vote for the same guy I voted for in 2008.

Conservatives should just look beyond Palin. I'm a conservative guy but I sincerely hope she's never considered for a presidential run in 2012. Or even as a running mate.

if I had a gun to my head and those were my only two choices I'd have to think about it before eventually voting for Sarah.

outside of her looks, Palin doesn't impress me anymore.

Imo, it seems like some people support her just because so many lefties despise her. That's nice and all, but she's not very electable.

Personally I think the best thing she could be used for politically is to actually put her name out there for pres/vice pres. Something about her just sets off lefties. Makes 'em go crazy. Hopefully they would direct much of their smear campaign at her instead of viable candidates that actually have a chance.

I doubt you know even one hard core conservative.

You may think you do.

From the JFK assassination on I wrote in Pat Paulsen
and Foster Brooks in most elections, except when
Carter and Reagan ran and I wrote in Mickey and
Mighty Mice.

(I was pleaseantly surprised by Reagan but in the
end I was still disappointed.)

I called my political party the "Party" party and had
so many people writing Mickey Mouse that they
changed the election laws in the state of Tennesse
so that polling stations didn't report write in votes
anymore.

Who did you vote for in 2008?

What governmental agency are you affiliated with
or do you work for an NGO?

Thanks for the candid reply mg, why don't we try to
keep our exchanges on an adult level?

lol k

Not like I have family members (my mother among others) who want Palin to get the GOP nod, just like you do.

Speaking of mothers, didn't yours tell you what happens when you assume things about people?

Maybe it's because I'm in Oregon?

Just like,

Oregon = all liberals
Liberals = all Obama votes
Obama = killing the country

therefore

Oregon = killing the country

And it's totally true.

Speaking of Oregon and death, did you read about the public suicide in Bend?

This a funny post considering how the hardcore righties have had an extremely intense, continuous meltdown since Obama became POTUS. The birther issue is proof enough.

I think he is really, really scared of Palin! :)

She never should have resigned as governor of Alaska. She and Rick Perry could have formed a powerful axis of governors of oil producing states to counter the insane energy policy of Obama.

Palin's foreign policy could hardly be worse than Obama's that could be described as 'treasonous' at worst and 'dubious' at best.

And then her domestic policy would be light years ahead of obama's radical socialism.

Here are the other prominent republicans being touted by the media: (along with whether I would vote for them or not.)

Romney - NO
Huckabee - NO
Gringrich - NO

There are some possible other republican candidates but none that I know of who are likely to run.

Some say Palin isn't electable but at this point Obama couldn't beat a ham sandwich.

Conservatives should just look beyond Palin. I'm a conservative guy but I sincerely hope she's never considered for a presidential run in 2012. Or even as a running mate.

Could have fooled the hell out of me, I would have thought anything but that.

I would have thought if you actually did have interactions with conservatives, at the very least thay would have talked a little bit of sense into your head.

I see no evidence of that.

Why would you doubt that? Would you also doubt that I know hardcore conservatives?

I doubt you know much of anything about anything although you are strongly opinionated on most everything.
