I’ll be the first one to admit that I was very skeptical of the kid beginning of the year.

He started off very slow, didn’t show a lot of energy nor aggression. Almost as if he was disinterested in taking hard coaching.

He grabbed several good rebounds against the SEC player of the year, also had a block, and made some nice jump shots.

I’ve said all along that he has NBA talent. He’s finally starting to look like he belongs out there in the SEC. Give credit to Barnes for coaching him up to his potential.

It’s going to be fun watching him develop into one of the best players in the conference.

Credit Josiah and Santi for the leadership they showed in getting him going. They went to Barnes after ORN went down and said “Start Brandon. He has to step up.” Well, Barnes started him, and while he hasn’t been perfect he has answered the bell and those minutes in January and February are paying dividends.

If anything else, this is what we needed from him for the postseason and for the next couple of years. The time on the court he is seeing now will only pay off for him. He’s starting to get him a taste of tournament basketball and I saw a glimpse of anger and swag out of him today after that dunk.

Sorry but if you think he’s stronger the Oscar I’d have to question how much Jack D you’ve had prior to this post. BHH is a talented kid tho. Hope he stays for 3yrs.

I was watching Oscar lean on BHH several times yesterday, he could not move him like he moved the rest of the team. Oscar just put a body on him then used his quickness to score. BHH is tentative and a step slow right now. His shoulders are 4 feet wide! Once he catches up to the speed of the game he will be a force inside. He would be a force now if he would just stand still on defense and no dribbling on offense.

I hope both Hatfield and Aidoo find the cure for “Hands of Stone” . Plavsic probably can’t be cured. 😂
Uros has gotten much better IMO. Now he’s got to improve on keeping the ball up high when he’s around the rim to avoid getting it slapped away by shorter guys and dunking the ball. BHH has demonstrated strong hands all season. I think he’s still trying to mentally catch up to the speed of the college game and has started showing steady progress as of late. The more comfortable he becomes the better he’s playing. Him and Aidoo are showing great promise for the future!

You can see the talent oozing out of that kid. He has great feet and pretty good hands, which is unusual for his size. If he sticks around a couple years (maybe even just one more) that kid will easily be a first round pick and possibly a lottery pick.

He’s not yet but he could be. Oscar is a Junior and has 3 years of college strength training to BHH’s 1. That’s the difference. No matter how good you trained in high school/prep school it’s not as good as what you get in college.

Tshiebwe is 22 years old, BHH is 18. Huge difference in physical development unless the younger guy is a Shazzon Bradley freak type.
