Brandon Willis DEcommiting for the CANES (false rumor)

Bryan Pata, Marlin Barnes, and Willie Cooper are three reasons I can think of off the top of my head to stay the hell away from Miami. I really have no problem with the U but I think there is a lot more potential for bad things to happen in Miami.

I would think losing Broussard and Harris today would make his decision even easier. I do not think he is afraid of the competition, but anyone would prefer an easier path to playing time.

He's the one that swayed Corey Miller to UT because of their dream to play college ball together. If he does commit (and my point for that video) is that it would just be a little messed up...

I just don't think I would be very cool with that if I were Miller. JMO

It would be VERY shady if he did Corey like that. I dont see it happening either, but you can just never be to sure. It would be worst case scenario if he did, and Corey followed. Hopefully his friendship with Corey and Jacq will keep him on board.

i wish lv or sab would post in this thread and get ride of my small amount of doubt.

This is all JMO. I think he will stay at UT. Miller and Orgeron will keep him here. I'm not as worried as some seem to be. And don't go on anything Kornblut says. He's an unreliable as they come...

I think it is important to remember what a huge decision this is for these kids. This is probably to this point the most important decision that they have had to make in their lives. With all the craziness surrounding the program and a lot of people pushing and pulling these kids in a thousand different directions, is it really that surprising that some of these kids get cold feet at the last minute?

Rivals article from Dec 14th is alot more trustworthy..... says he's choosing from 3 schools and talks about Miami's chances....

Seems like a really good well spoken kid, I really hope he stays with UT. A kid like that doesn't belong in Miami at thug "U". He is jacked too

A little over 8 and a half hours from Kville to Jacksonville. Compared to 5 and half hours from Miami to Jacksonville. 3hr difference isn't that much of a factor I would think but recruits have committed for some pretty random and stupid reasons so who knows. I would think his friendships that he has made with other recruits committed to UT would outweigh that 3 hr driving distance.
it's not 8.5 vs 5.5 unless you're speeding all the way to Knoxville and going the speed limit to Miami with a bathroom break at a rest stop thrown in for good measure. it's 9.5 to Knoxville and 5 to Miami. the gap gets even wider when you take into account round trips, 19 hours on the road versus 10.

I really wish the select UT fans who are posting ad nauseum like the sky is falling on his FB page would just shut the hell up.

That has been my stance as well. I may end up with egg on my face, but I have faith in this staff to sell he and his father on UT.

if distance was ever a factor he would be decommitting from USCjr. not to mention fsu was the initial leader & is closer to jax than miami. the distance from k town to jax vs jax to miami is moot. he was going out of state from the start & was considering 2 cali schools. theres no point bickering over distances to wherever when it has nothing to do with this.

What are they saying? Quotes?

Something to the effect of

hoping it works with her bc he is letting it all go for her

Who knows, maybe about something else, but it came at a curious time considering all the Willis to the U stuff.

I was just looking because I saw his profile was not private. I was a little disturbed by some of the UT fans posting on there though.

Sounds rational to me Sab

According to the poster above, it sounds like a female is at the bottom of this.

Rule #1 Brandon, Never chase women or let them get in your head when making an important decision
