Brandon Willis- the Vols have life again

There is a good chance someone gets moved to LB, and on Monte's line, it isn't too much of a stretch to move Willis as an end over to the non-nose tackle position.

Call me an idiot, but why are we so hung up on Willis when we have Smith and Miller committed? Is Willis going to play DT or LB? Sorry if I'm asking a dumb question, I missed the whole decommit crap.

I think he was projected as a DT. He's listed at just under 260 at current.

With his speed and agility, Kiffin might have seen a bit of Warren Sapp in him. Who knows though... that's just what I recall reading somewhere.

He seems to think everyone is a Vol lock...lol

His interest is now low on rivals for UT. UNC & UCLA as High interest.
That stinks I wanted this guy!

A lot of the kids down here are comparing notes and some didn't have favorable things to say about UNC. Plus there are a few guys here committed or interested in Tennessee so it made him re-think. I just spoke to him and he said it's UNC, UCLA and Tennessee now and he will decide Saturday. His dad gets into town Thursday and they will talk it over.

From Mike Farrell... I asked Farrell why Willis was cooling on UNC and liking UT again. This was his response. I think it is HUGE that his dad is coming to town to talk this over. He is really considering the Vols...

Would be good to lock him back up

I just remember reading several posts with this guy claiming UT leads for prospects when no one else was saying it...

this is just another example...I don't have a Scouts subscription so everything I have read is posted by others...

With all his back pedaling, I don't care where he goes. He's fast but very undersized for a DT. He'll probably be SDE where ever he goes. But, doesn't matter to me though.

I hope he is ALL-VOL! What % do you give that he is VOL, LV?

I literally have no idea. I think he made a rash decision and is realizing it now. This hostess crap was never a big deal and it's blowing over now...

His dad is coming to town to talk over the decision which means he is seriously thinking about the Vols. And Miller, Jacques, and Ambles have 4 more days/3 nights to keep working him hard...

Yea, he's catching flack from other recruits because they are saying what we already know. "Why the hell you wanna go to UNC?" He answers, "My Dad's from there, and it's my Mom's favorite school." Then other recruits say, "So you wanna go to a Basketball school, or to a school where the fans are fanatics and everyone knows your name?" Now he wants to think because his peers are in his ass.

Stuff like this makes me feel really sad for people.

Not a chance of him going to Tennessee with all that's been going on over there. Committing to UNC could signify the resurgence of the Heels' recruiting class and continue Butch Davis' history of being a great recruiting closer. With the news of the Heels' juniors all returning for their senior season, Willis would be ableto come in and learn, and no feel the pressure at having to come in and start from day 1.

That's from http://obsrecruiting.blogspot.com/2010/01/more-on-brandon-willis-now-tar-heels.html

What you never been teased or ragged on for something you did or considered doing? He's just feeling the pressure it sounds like to me. Get your mind out the gutter while you're at it.
