Manning is a better QB than Bray, no question, but how many games against top 10 teams did Manning have to beat from 7-21 points down? Manning also had ALOT btter run game than Bray has ever had. It isnt his fault he is limited to a predictable offensive sceme. Also, Manning had a defense Bray could only dream of having to keep the other teams points low and spirits deflated. Add '98 defense to this years offense and his numbers would be even better with many more SEC wins......IMO. He can act immature sometimes but we would be alot owrse right now without him

How do I get suspended from Volnation for life? I can't resist the urge to check in every few hours but when I do I see the same dumb ass people posting dumb ass sh*t. Is it really that big a deal that Bray misspoke? I'm sure he watches football on Sunday and hears that said at least a half dozen times every weekend. I highly doubt the NCAA will swoop down on Knoxville to investigate why Bray said what he did. Some people and you know who you are jump on every single word that is said in the media or on twitter and immediately start throwing out the idiot word. Would you ever misspeak if you were a college kid and were asked the same stupid questions over and over by illiterate reporters? Come on people get some common sense.

You forgot to mention that Dooley called him out for 2 fumbles on drives that could have tied or won the games.

Honestly this shouldnt be newsworthy, much less an article. He is a young kid with a microphone in his face and responded with a typical vanilla answer that he sees on ESPN everyday. Looks like a hungry reporter hoping to get lucky.

kid needs to be benched. hes made some asinine decisions as the "leader" of the team. but, it all comes back to leadership.

hope next coach can reign tylers tude in. the teams qb doesnt need to mouth off to press, who're starving to stain this program.

nothing confusing about that.

I think the NCAA needs to come snooping around and make a major ordeal over a silly slip of the tongue....just like they tried to crucify Ohio State and Tressel over some kids trading their own shiz (jersey) for a tatoo.....not really, but it wouldn't surprise me.

If UT were terrorizing the conference the way Tressel and OSU did the Big Ten, opposing fans would go nuts over this and you can believe the NCAA would come riding in to save college athletics from the scourge of Tyler Bray. :rolleyes:
