If he is one of the most difficult QB's to sack then this is not true. You can't have it both ways.

I'm not having it both ways, a great offensive line can do a great job as long as it has the numbers and the defensive front is accounted for as is normally the case.

It's when you send an extra guy(s), a lb, cb, s...that's when the QB has to recognize the blitz, accout for it by moving a back or use a hot read for instance to defeat it. This is the weakness I was referring. To be honest there were times where I thought maybe he recognized it and just thought he could beat it with his arm, rather than changing the original call. There were other times where he didn't see it and some of those times you have to credit the D for a good disguise.

Of course, this is just my opinion, I don't pretend to know how much he knows in his brain or his skill at reading defenses, or what his reads were supposed to be. Just basing it on the games I've seen. I also base it on statements by Dooley and Chaney when asked about how much leeway Tyler was given at the line. The answer seemed to be not much.

The bolded I agree with and not only in adjusting play calling but also when plays were covered. He made throws that very few QB's can make and hit on a lot of big plays. I think some thought his confidence bordered on hubris at times.

If Bray didn't have the South Doyle Powder Puff team relieving him on defense last year, I think he would have had spectacular numbers. Plus, I do not think he had top-notch coaching to improve his game management and decision making. He's got a great arm and, at times, showed that he can get the ball into some pretty tight coverage.

As far as maturity, he's made mistakies. He knows that. Hopefully, he has learned from them and will grow as a person. I don't think he and Dooley got along, but I don't know if that's more on him or on DD. From what I understand, quite a few people had "personality conflicts" with the former coach.

Bottom line: if he can get his head on straight, land on a team with a good QB- developing staff, and retain his confidence, he might well surprise some people.

I, for one, hope he does.
I went to south Doyle and our powder puffs actually played better d

The Bray hate amazes me on this site. Did he kill you kid or puppy because you all act like he did

Yeah, the jerks amaze me on here. I don't know how you call yourself a Vol Fan when you consistently hate on our players. In my book, if you put on an orange jersey and do your best for Tennessee, you're my guy and I'll support you through thick and thin.

Bray is a good talent with a great build for a pocket passer. He has an above average arm and above average accuracy. He's shown solid ability to read defenses. He lagged behind in handling the pressure of high stress situations and needed to mature alot mentally. He definitely would have benefitted from another year at Tennessee, but I understand why he decided to go pro.

I look forward to supporting him on Sundays, wherever he ends up.

Bray will start and do well in the NFL. He has more talent then several NFL starters and back ups.

Taco Bells, McDonald's and Prisons are full of guys who have more raw talent than many NFL starters. Last i saw Bray is heading towards fry cook based on what's going on between the ears. He's a punk, no two ways about it.

I don't know if he gave his all for UT . But he did give us some hope for a couple of years. Our offense was pretty good the last couple of years. Imagine if Rogers could have stayed straight last year we would have been pretty bad .

If you watched the 2011 Gruden QB Camp with Blaine Gabbert, you should know exactly how Bray's QB Camp will go.

"Man, you have a great arm,..."

"You see what i'm seeing? A kid with alot of raw ability..."

"Let's look at your drop backs... why are you dropping back so casually? Is it to impress the girls?"

"You're out there on the field acting like Joe Cool when your team is losing to Kentucky..."

"You play like an All-American for three quarters and then everything goes out the window in the fourth."

"One play you completely blow me away and then the very next play I cannot figure out where your head was at..."

Basically, by the end of the camp Gruden will have told Bray he has a ton of talent but he needs to move from the "Mr. Cool" attitude to the "Mr. Ice" attitude.

The only thing that will hold Bray back in the NFL is himself. He's got the talent but he needs to get his mind right and work harder in the offseason. That kid should have put on about 15-20 extra pounds of muscle while he was at UT. No reason to be a beanpole with all the protein shakes and nutritional supplements the UT athletic department pumps into its athletes. I think a more competitive mindset would fix his offseason motivation. They basically go hand in hand.

So which NFL team is it you coach or play for?
