Alabama didn't ever accept their fate. They went out and bought the best coach they could get. Seems to have worked...

Ok...different situation though. First bama's AD and program was NO WHERE near the situation our was when Dooley got here. It's not even close to the situation UT currently is in.

I really can't stand the Bama hiring Saban comparison cause IMO its really shows lack of thought. Please tell me the coach that has won a BCS NC with a fellow sec team that is approachable to hire during our coaching carousel??? Bama lucked out with the timing of the Saban hire. He wanted out of the nfl and they needed a new coach. The stars aligned just perfectly for them SOBs. Soooo name me a coach that we could have a chance with that would WITHOUT a doubt be even close of a guarentee home-run hire like Saban....Gruden??? lol:

If swagger is what bray brought to the team then I hope we never recruit another QB with swagger. Leave all that crap to receivers and defensive guys. I want hard nose nerdy swaggerless QBs (like Manning), RBs, TEs, and OLmen.

What if DuhRick hadn't acted up. The triplets plus Zac and Rivera would have been unstoppable. The run game would have gotten 300 a game cuz defenses would have had to played a 2-4-5 D to slow down the passing. lol

While were at it, what if we didn't switch to a 3-4...that could have been worth 10 points a game too. And the injuries too, blah, blah, blah!

Where did that come from an what was the point of it all? He didn't make any kind of hypothetical claims about winning more games or scoring more points if we hadn't lost some players, he just complemented Zach on having a very good year for us. So why the mocking? Unless I misunderstood.

I blame Dooley for the loses, but I am saying the players need to stop losing if they have so much swagger, not sure how I lost you.

I think Rivera will have the longest NFL career. Bray will probably end up like Crompton. JH and CP I can see as #3 WR's for several teams. CP will be a bigger name in the return game, look at Devin Hester in Chicago. At least CP can catch the ball when it is thrown to him.
