What kind of showing do you think we'll have to have to make Bray choose us over SDSU?

Im going to say a 100% positive one. No booing, no disappointment from fans. A great win will really help. To make him change commitments will really be on him. Gut check time on whether or not he can rise up and play in front of 100,000, or in front of 5000. If he has any sort of ambition or competitve spirit he should choose Tennessee IMO.

soon as he sees the fellas come out of the T he will be a hard lean and once Crompton has put the women and children to bed and gone looking for dinner, then Stephens will not look impressive and Bray will say I can beat him out and will back out of his commit and reopen his recruitment.

A very intense one. The fans have show that they want him to play at UT for the next 4 years, and the coaching staff needs to show that he belongs in UT's offensive system

I do not think it will take much. New coaching staff surrounded with excitement and hes coming on opening days so the place will be crazy. I mean honestly all favoritism aside UT or SDSU?

I think that is a good question.
As a long-distance Vol, I'll be missing the WKU game.
But, I'll be up for UCLA in full-force.

I would have thought that the UCLA would be the game to showcase.
New staff v. bigger team + revenge of 2 years of Pac-10 let-down.

Well, he doesn't have a high school game this week so he decided to come to the WKU game rather than playing next Friday night then getting straight on a plane and flying here just to make the game on Saturday...

Since he's coming for WKU, he could probably spend all day Friday and Saturday in Knoxville and leave Sunday morning...

If he commits on the trip I would be seriusly shocked. Just hung up with Tyler. Just my read from speaking with him about his visit.

I'd be shocked as well Matt, his family will be with him meaning they are definitely going to make sure he is making the right decision before he decides to de-commit. Correct me if I'm off-base here but I'm pretty sure his situation is a lot like Scroggins in that his Dad really would like him to stay close to home.

If he cant come into the house and see why he should play here, he shouldnt paly here. That just means he cant handle it all! I can see how Neyland would be way to much for some and on the other hand, that is exactly why some would want to be a VOL. Come to a game for an official. You will see what we are all about in Knoxville!

True. Should be rocking. I'll be wearing the Orange at GameDay Saturday.

I think our freshmen need to have a solid impact on the offensive side of the ball (Nuke, Teague, Rogers, Bryce Brown, and Oku). These are his future weapons that he will have to work with if he comes to Rocky Top, and if they come out with a solid performance in their first collegiate game then it should have a big impact on young Mr. Bray.

Bottom line. Does he think he has what it takes to play on such a huge stage. With ESPN and the new SEC package he will be playing in front of millions each week. I have always thought he would be a good fit, good arm, smart kid and tall enough to see the whole field. He will commit to the vols before 9/15. He is alot like Ainge but just a better arm.

90's Atmosphere...

Zero Booing on Cromptons first or ANY bad pass (remember, most all WR's are frosh). If we have booing we will see a repeat of JOSH NUNES...thanks, but no thanks.

He is going to be completely awestruck by the new coaching staff and the turnout of the thousands of fans at the traditional Vol Walk. But nothing will compare to the feeling he will get when the team takes the field, running through the Power T of the Pride of the Southland Band, in front of 100,00+ Tennessee Volunteer fans. The excitement is in the air for the first game of the season and it's FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!! It would not suprise me in the least if Mr. Bray is at least silently committed by halftime. I am a lifetime Vol fan and nothing sends chills down my spine like the Tennessee Volunteers taking the field through the T. Go Vols and Welcome Home Mr. Tyler Bray!!

SDSU averages 24k for their home games. I don't think the game day atmosphere will be an issue for Tennessee. If he chooses elsewhere, it will be for other reasons.

I say we start a Tyler Bray chant. 100,000 fans cheering my name would make me do just about anything.... ... ... ANYTHING

Go VOLS!!!
