The Bray love just keeps flowing. One day the love fest will be over and the dream of many that Bray would have a winning a record at TN will cease...oh wait that is over. Who cares people he lost a TN and that is all that really should matter to us. Was he a player that help bring success to TN?
Seriously you think it was Bray's fault we lost all these games the past three years?
Pick up a stat book!
Bray is #1 (313) & #2 (308) in "Most Yards in a Half"! Peyton is at #4 (285).
#1 Most yards in a game (530) Peyton #2 (523).
He is #2 for "Most yards in a Season" (3,612) (2012, last year) Peyton is #1 with (3,819).
Bray is #2 in "Touchdowns in a Season" with (34) last year. Peyton is #1 with (36)
Had Bray returned he would have only needed 20 touchdowns to tie Peyton for most career Touchdowns. Bray had (69) Peyton had (89)
Bray ended his Tennessee career 4th in career yards (7,444) only 1,256 yards from 3rd and only 2,263 from 2nd and only 3,757 yards from Peyton's #1 spot of 11,201 so it would not have been out of the question that if he had a great senior season he could have caught Peyton. He would only have needed 145 more yards on top of the 3,612 than he threw last season. Bray should have been close to 4,000 yards last season he only threw for 103 against Vandy, 148 vs. Miss St. and 184 against Alabama those are the only three games he didn't go over the 250 yard mark in a game. Outside those three the next lowest is (257) yards against Florida.
