Bray

Also let me say I root for most all former TN players. Hunter and Bray I have issues with. The rest of that group, I felt put out full effort. I think CP is great and the rest. I just don't put my orange tinted glasses and say yay for Bray. Again the defense was terrible, but we had chances at the end and fumbles and what not cost us too. Then you have games like the Vandy game and Bama game. Just makes me wonder.

you just put your tinted glasses on when it fits your agenda ? You don't like Bray but you like CP ? who did not know this. Was CP apart of this team that you basically said ,had no success ? you are pathetic.

Good gosh man, thanks for the name calling. I don't like Bray, period. I thought CP's effort was good.

No issues with DaRick ? OK ? No issues with the Doolander and staff OK ? Get lost now

Yep DaRick is gone and I had huge issues with him. Sort of forgot about him after he left. Dooley, I have stated since the middle of year 2 he was a poor coach. I even said that in this thread. Chaney was up and down and the Oline coach from last year was good. Sal was the worst D coordinator I have ever seen, and we got robbed there. Does that sum it up for you? The defense of Bray is actually really shocking. Usually there are a lot more that agree.

What is your point? You want us to disown him because he played on bad teams? Sends a great message to future recruits about how we treat former players.

That's not what he's saying. I have issues with Bray because he seemingly quit on his team a few times. If he struggled because he wasn't good at reading defenses, fine. If he played well enough to win but our defense sucked and lost the game, fine. I don't have a problem with that. However, I have a massive problem with quitting on your team. That's what it appears he did and I think that's what the player you quoted is saying as well.

The Bray love just keeps flowing. One day the love fest will be over and the dream of many that Bray would have a winning a record at TN will cease...oh wait that is over. Who cares people he lost a TN and that is all that really should matter to us. Was he a player that help bring success to TN?

Seriously you think it was Bray's fault we lost all these games the past three years?

Pick up a stat book!

Bray is #1 (313) & #2 (308) in "Most Yards in a Half"! Peyton is at #4 (285).

#1 Most yards in a game (530) Peyton #2 (523).

He is #2 for "Most yards in a Season" (3,612) (2012, last year) Peyton is #1 with (3,819).

Bray is #2 in "Touchdowns in a Season" with (34) last year. Peyton is #1 with (36)

Had Bray returned he would have only needed 20 touchdowns to tie Peyton for most career Touchdowns. Bray had (69) Peyton had (89)

Bray ended his Tennessee career 4th in career yards (7,444) only 1,256 yards from 3rd and only 2,263 from 2nd and only 3,757 yards from Peyton's #1 spot of 11,201 so it would not have been out of the question that if he had a great senior season he could have caught Peyton. He would only have needed 145 more yards on top of the 3,612 than he threw last season. Bray should have been close to 4,000 yards last season he only threw for 103 against Vandy, 148 vs. Miss St. and 184 against Alabama those are the only three games he didn't go over the 250 yard mark in a game. Outside those three the next lowest is (257) yards against Florida.
