Actually, it's the Purdue defense that sold me. 36.5 ppg last year, 38 the year before, down to 19 this year. Only one team (Louisville) cracked 30 on them. Held Wisconsin to 17 (their only game under 20).

Les couldn't make it work at a school with recruiting advantages that Tennessee only dreams of.

Why do you expect him to do more with less?

I’ll support this guy. Seems like he has potential. Truthfully, I would have rather had Tee Martin, but considering the incompetence of our AD, this is a huge success.

Go Vols! I am hoping for getter days ahead.

Lesson learned: Getting the right AD is the most important action. Period. The right AD will get the right coach. The wrong guy (which Currie is), will botch everything, no matter how many resources are at his disposal.

Welcome (hopefully), Coach Brohm!

Les did make it work. 2 national championship appearances and won it once. It fizzled out in the end.

As it looks right now Les Miles would probably be the best Tn could get. This has been screwed so bad would be lucky to sign a Jr. high coach
