Nothing because her punishment was a death sentence.
I am well aware. I just think many people are disingenuous in this. I have spoken out numerous times against unarmed Americans being killed by police. Yet many on the right just now, and perhaps just this instance, see it as a problem. I spoke out against her killing as well.

I understand. For the record, I am being cynical because of what happened last summer and what is still happening. Uneven justice. I find that inexcusable.

The LEO may have been justified but it appears he is immediately assumed he's innocent and there is total silence by the fire breathers in the legislature because a) how dare someone tries to trepass and threaten us and/or b) she is a white conservative.

It's stuff like that, that has driven a deeper wedge in this country. Anyone that is not morally bankrupt can see you can't explain killing this woman as an example, but allowed people to be beaten and killed, have their businesses looted, burned to the ground and more. These were felonies committed in the open. I understand having some restraint at the local level but Washington congress should've condemned it because it was ruthlessness.

Just think of the countless months of therapy the media will need to recover from this horrific insurrection.

Just when they were getting healed from 1/6. Then this happens.

Police arrested Congressional Black Caucus chair Joyce Beatty on Thursday afternoon after she led pro-voting rights protesters into a Senate office building.

Officers moved in as Beatty, 71, and a handful of other activists, including Women's March co-founders Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory, chanted, 'Fight for justice,' and, 'End the filibuster.'

Capitol Police later said they had arrested nine people for 'demonstrating in a prohibited area on Capitol Grounds.'

Not ok with arrests. Detain and get them out, but I see no need for arrests.

There should have been a grand jury investigation

It looks like capitol police raided a golden corral and arrested the patrons.
