Breaking down Vescovi's 'phenomenal' adjustments to life in SEC

Ves is gonna be an assist magician before his Vol days are over. This young man has a high ceiling and we'll all be happy he's all VOL. He is adjusting quickly and we'll be amazed after he's had more time with our team. GBO!

Just wait until he gets more players that can finish around the rim better. They will be licking their chops with a pass first PG.

He’s already pushing Fulk and Pons for best player on team. I imagine he will be in the NBA after next year.

Imo his mind has subconsciously adjusted to the speed of the game which puts him in a much better position to play more freely. He’s obviously talented but maybe not as quick but his mental approach is so strong he makes up for it. And as already stated he’s still so young. If we can keep really talented players around him I think we’ll see things from the point position we haven’t seen in a while.

He is doing great as everyone stated, yes... here comes a But...... it seems every time he makes a great shot he immediately steps into overdrive on Defense and fouls lol

Has improved , but really need to re watch first five minutes of pigs game.. Jumping blind passes and lost ball all in that five min..but did look better as game went on.

Having a PG like Vescovi grasp the game as quickly as he has is nice to watch in this rebuilding year. He sees the floor, such an important attribute for PGs to have and he does not get rattled. I will enjoy watching him for the next couple of years. What a diamond in the rough that Barnes found......

We'll, guess who my daughter just brought home last weekend? Told her to dump that other boy. Said this Spanish speaking young man seems very polite and probably hears his name on draft night in a couple years. I'm already searching the upscale assisted living facilities. 😉

OK. I just wanted to let this marinate for a day, so that y'all would think Livefaith was about to be a bball insider. That's not SV in the photo below. It's my future son in law and my daughter.
Young man is a doppelganger of Vescovi. 6-1 athletic, same hair, beard. A couple years older. He just can't play b-ball worth a dime! 😂
Sent the top photo to my daughter this week and she couldn't believe it. Been calling him Santiago this week. Oh well, I guess I won't quit my day job after all.

Not gonna lie. I looked at the comparison three times and was thinking he didn't exactly look like Santiago, but I thought maybe it was just because he'd cleaned up for his date or something. I also had questions as to a Uruguayan young man already adopting the dress code of frat boys nationwide.

My thoughts exactly. I was like...well, the hair seems a little different, but it's dark out...the face doesn't look quite as thin, but he's smiling pretty big...and the clothes also seemed pretty American-ized, but hey, maybe he's just fitting in.

I was a slightly hesitant believer, and now I feel like my parents just told me Santa wasn't real.
