No details available and I don't know how to get the Dawg Vent so this is preliminary. THIS is the kind of stuff I am hoping we avoid.

Saw that AJC is reporting it.

Looks like they did sweep all that stuff under the rug last week until after the game.

Really bull crap.

It certainly appears that way, would like to hear how this chain of events unfolded and what new information came to the police and warranted his arrest this morning.

The whole situation sounds really strange. It sounds like they found the stolen items on Wednesday at someone else's house, but they aren't charging any of the residents of the home where they found the stuff. I guess they are saying King stole the stuff and stashed it at a friend's house. :dunno:

You never know how an investigation is going to go, but rumors were hitting the internet a couple of days ago so you'd figure the coaches had to know that something was up.

If the coaches knew, this will a sh*t storm for Richt.

I'm just laughing right now at the fact that Saint Richt may have blatently looked the other way on a criminal charge so he would have a RB available to help save his job.

lol...it really is hilarious.

This was known and discussed last week that the cops had came to his apt and removed his belongings.........Why was he allowed to play Saturday?????? Not saaying his absence would have made any difference in the score

There is a reason that King went to three high schools in four years here in ATL.

If Richt knew something was up, it makes no sense that he would allow King to play against a team as bad as us. They didn't need him.

In the back of his mind though, he had to be thnking "We just lost to Colorado, and UT basically went into Baton Rouge and won....I'm not taking any chances with my job potentially on the line". On some level, I bet even he was surpirsed the game was as lopsided as it was.

Maybe he was surprised how fast the game got out of hand, but there's no way he could have looked at the film and not known they were a heck of a lot better than we are.

Richt had a team that was supposed to be very talented but was playing on a level similar to ours. Richt knew he had to stop the bleeding, another loss to a rival when playing at home would have been a disaster. It turns out they didn't need him but I don't think he knew that going into the game Saturday.

No offense, but I think a lot of people are seriously underestimating how bad we are and overestimating how bad Georgia was/is. UGA is the best sub-.500 team I've ever seen.

Schlabaugh says King picked up at some point over the weekend by Clarke County police, in regards to a warrant from Walton County for failure to appear.

Also said a search warrant was executed at his house. It involved the theft of a team mates property.

I agree but unless Georgia got a win in this game they were in serious trouble of imploding and giving up. Similar to what happened in our game with Wyoming. Georgia looked like they should given their roster and so did we.
