BREAKING NEWS: CALEB KING (UGA) arrested....

No offense, but I think a lot of people are seriously underestimating how bad we are and overestimating how bad Georgia was/is. UGA is the best sub-.500 team I've ever seen.

I agree after watching us play this weekend. However the LSU game got me thinking we really weren't as bad as I thought. Obviously, I was mistaken, and probably so were a lot of other people, Richt included.

I've got two questions here since this is an issue related to a no show in court. When was the court date and how long has the warrant been out?

The ESPN article said it was a warrant for a failure to appear in probate court. How does that warrant not pop during their investigation last week. Great timing if you are a Dawg fan.

Read the Tribune article above. It was from August 6th. I'm pretty sure they knew who he was and made no effort to pursue. This really looks odd. It will get blamed on slow turning wheels of bureaucracy. But Chapman is known for running a tight ship and that excuse won't fly.

Is this really a big deal guys?
It's a big deal for King because his coaches have been all over him about his license situation and failing to appear for a court date is about the most monumentally stupid thing he could have done.

As far as it being a reflection on Richt, I agree that it's no big deal unless there's more to it.

Guys here is an update:

I am fairly certain King will NOT be kicked off the team.

Failure to appear for speeding is BS. This is like the FL player arrested for parking tickets. It is not a large charge.

King did steal a bunch of stuff and try to make money selling it, but none of that will stick because his brother who lives with him took the charges.

And yes, the UGA fans did wait to arrest him until after he beat us.
