I went to bed starving plenty in college b/c I didn't have any money. Just sayin...

Anywho...i'm really wondering why this LSU-SEIU guy is SOOOO excited for CFB to not be the same ever again. One thing is changing things here or there, but fundamentally changing CFB Obama-style is not needed. If u hate CFB so much then don't deal with it unless u r going to financially benefit some how from the changes.

Ur adamant about the getting money from a 3rd party part. I'm thinking u want to be a 3rd party money giver so that u can take advantage and benefit from these kids. When I was in college the 3rd party I got money from was my employer. I didn't have any other non-related family members giving or wanting to give me any money. So don't get upset when people see through u, and ur want to benefit just like the "cartels" u sit here and bash like a hypocrite. Many of us enjoy CFB for what it is, not trying to financially benefit from it like u seem u want too.

The University of Connecticut Huskies made a triumphant return to the NCAA tournament this year — winning the national championship Monday night — after the school was barred from competition in 2013 for poor academic performance.

But UConn's graduation rate for male basketball players is still the worst of any team in the 2014 tournament.

UConn graduates 8 percent of its players
, according to the most recent NCAA statistics. To put it another way: of the 12 players who started as freshmen eight years ago, exactly one managed to finish a college degree or leave UConn in good academic standing.

They should definitely have access to 24/7 food. 7 is pretty early to shut down.

UT must've changed their cafeteria hours, because when I was in school there were plenty of nights I went to the Hess Hall cafeteria and got milkshakes from the Ben and Jerry stand at like 10pm. After consuming plenty of late night milkshakes, I not only went to bed not-hungry but put on more lbs. then I would've preferred.

Also, the snack stores on campus stayed open later than 7 and they took what was referred to as "bonus bucks". You buy a meal plan with so many meals per week allotted and so many bonus bucks that could be used for just about anything on campus. I had 15 meals per week and $300 worth of bonus bucks. Hell, I used to buy dip with my bonus bucks when campus still sold tobacco.

One would think the athletes at UT would be given a meal plan that included bonus bucks in addition to their meals. I don't see that being any form of violation because it's something that's afforded to all students as part of a meal plan. On average the meal plans all cost about the same the only thing that fluctuated was meals and bonus bucks. Want more bonus bucks? Then the allotted meals per week are reduced. Want more cafeteria meals? Then you get less bonus bucks.

In other news, college players are trying to act like premadonnas that they are. Maybe the Uconn player eats crap that'll keep you hungry. We all know about those stereotypes.
