Yep, but I felt the presser was a little over the top. Kept saying body of work, body of work. I prefer actions not words and we will see. Just want to temper all the unrealistic thinking. This is the SEC and most HCs in this conference are just as motivated and with great resumes. I think I read somewhere he is now being paid as a top ten coach, I expect top ten performance. We will see.

I know right, I was so disappointed with the presser. Just a bunch of talk, talk, and more talk. Where was the action?

Guys, what about Justin King? I thought he did a great job this year on the few attempts at the wildcat. He could be great in this system

Preferring action instead of words is good except the coach had not even been hired 24 hours. I don't believe anyone could possibly expect to judge his ACTION over his words in that short period.

Give him time and give him a chance. I believe you would want the same for yourself.

Put Pig Howard at RB and let him loose. I think he would thrive there and in this system. He certainly has the body of a RB and not a WR.

Would you rather have Dooley telling his players we are not very good right now. I think that had alot to do with the players not likeing Dooley.

the team wasn't very good until it was quite obvious that the team wasn't very good--several games into the season. I don't mind a coach that states the obvious.

Who will be playing WR for us next year? Do we have anybody decent in the wings?

Hypothetically speaking if Hunter & Patterson leave I'm going with Drae Bowles. Kid has all the intangibles to be mentioned amongst the elite WRs in UT history, it's just a matter of how bad does he want to be good? That's my opinion, GBO!

Jacob Carter and Q. Watson impressed me the most for bench players this past season. Carter didn't have a lot of playing time, but made some tough catches under pressure from defenders.

WRs that can block will have a huge advantage in getting PT.

I think Curt Maggitt will have a crazy season because he will hopefully be 100% and will play out of his mind. I think that Pig and Dallas will also have great seasons with Worley at the helm.

Jordan Williams.

Also, don't sleep on Kenny Bynum at LB if he can get healthy. (In addition to the two known studs we have at LB, of course.)

As I read this thread I am reminded of the age old question of why does one work on the things they are best at and ignore the things they really need to improve to be most successful. The vast majority of this thread speaks of the offense while it was readily apparent the real weakness was our defense. What do we have in the cupboard on that side of the ball that make the most improvement there? Do we have some speed players that could move and make an impact?
