I would not mind giving him a shot here, he is young and energetic, has coached under Stoops and Snyder. just a thought.

DC like Brent Venables a shot? A lot like Fl with Muschamp, I like Venables experience on the defensive side of the ball and his energy. Just think he would be worth looking at.

Unfortunately, at this point I think we are past taking too much risk on an up-and-comer. I think we need to bit the bullet and pay for proven success.

No. UT needs a proven winner. Not necessarily a home run. But the guy must be a winner.

Not any of those names. UT will have to hire an up and coming coach, to get a good one. There's no proven coach that wants to come here. Hire and up and coming coach, and let's turn this program around.

Isn't that exactly what Hamilton did after Lane "Liar" Kiffin left us high and dry?

A major football program needs a major coach.

I can't believe I am typing this but I agree with John Adams. We need a "proven" winner at HC this time no more messing around. It has been 5 long years since we had a winning record in the SEC!!

What coach will come then? Gruden and the rest on the Volnation list won't be coaching here.

lol how you figure that? one of the largest recruiting budgets in the country, best facilities, SEC, winning tradition, one of the best college programs of all time, and yet all of a sudden we can only get up and comers or mid major coaches? lol
