I think there are more than "3" when you consider the western and eastern portions of the state.

For example, in Memphis you have Briarcrest and MUS which have produced several D1 players.

Not as familiar with the east, but I'm sure there are at least 1 or 2 private schools Butch would like to "own".

Baylor and McCallie in Chattanooga. There is one near Atlanta where Justin King is from, but I can't recall the name.

Don't be surprised if he isn't listed as the number 1 recruit in the state in the 16 class. This guy is a beast and destroyed people at camps this summer. He has had some excellent coaching and will only get better. Remember he is listed as a 4 star now and he hasn't even played his Jr year yet. He can easily carry 25 to 35 lbs more muscle and he is fundamentally years ahead of most HS lineman. From everything I hear he is a good kid as well and LOVES the Vols!

Can he block Mckenzie? That would give him his 5th star!

There is a lot more talent in the state of Tennessee now, than there were 20 years ago, now we can get 10 players each year in the state that can play anywhere in the country, so coach is building a fence around the state, I know we want get all of the top players in the state, but coach is doing a heck of a job so far and the longer coach is here the more of the top talent will come the future is bright ORANGE for the top players in the state.

He said MID Tn.

Well yeah, but that's why I said mid TN Big 3. MUS of course, Webb, McCallie.

No other private schools in the state produce Division 1 talent like Brentwood Academy, Ensworth, or Montgomery Bell.

My mistake, I didn't see the "mid TN" reference. The ones you've listed would be my top 3 were I Butch.

Might be why he said "mid TN"...
