Brian Kelly could win 3 national championships and still not even have half as many as Saban.

To put it in context, Saban has more National Championships than Urban Meyer, Steve Spurrier and Dabo Swinney have combined.

His teams have been ranked 1st at some point during the season for every year since 2008.

He is never getting touched.

People will point to $$, as in how could you turn that down? I don't disagree, especially when you're taking over a blue blood without the restrictions imposed by ND standards. But what it really says to me is he wants to win (at this point $$$ ain't got anything to do with it), just like a 5 star committing to GA or Bama. Question is CAN he do it? Odds are.... NOPE. And Uncle Nick isn't losing any sleep over it. Let's be clear 10 win seasons IS NOT doing it, and not necessarily why he was hired. Showing up in the SECCG consistently IS close to it.

And now he's gotta do it for multiple weeks at a time....NAVY isn't in the schedule anymore, nor is the ACC.

Saban isn’t scared of Kelley. Now I think Kirby will probaly send Nick to the coaches retirement home

I do know that Saban just extended his contract earlier this year until 2028. I'm guessing that will be his exodus.

Calhoun's an idiot. He dreams up all these insignificant, unrelated arguments and draws complete non sequitur conclusions from them. Then he makes bold predictions that, if they come true, it'll be pure coincidence. Kelly probably will do ok at LSU, but not because of these talking points listed in this article.

Coaches haven’t faired too well after the age of 70…….however Bama is probably in a different situation than most any someone at 70+ has been.

Bowden and Paterno did pretty good……but not like before 70. While it certainly appears Saban could coach for quite a while longer…….I don’t see him still hanging out at 77.

Who knows…….but I think if he gets another championship within the next 2 or 3 years……he might hang it up…..again, who knows.
