Coach O’s final 2 seasons: 11-11

Kelly is on pace to win 11 games in his first year after being ridiculed for taking the LSU job….he hit his ceiling at ND. LSU through recruiting and talent will allow him a chance to break his career ceiling. Not saying he will rattle off championships but LSU provides him more advantages to contending for a natty than he had at ND.

He is a perineal 3rd best in the nation coach, as has been established by his resume at one of the most successful historic programs of all time.

They do not. He is what he is. There are people here who say if only Kiffin could get millions of NIL money and a big stage, he could win it all. You are saying the same about Kelly. Rockne, Neyland, the Bear, Dooley, hell, even Saban and Meyer, none of them needed special gimme’s. They just went out and beat people. If you are great, it will show. If you are perineal 3rd place, that will show too. He couldn’t get it done in a situation where others have. The modern SEC is not the place for a guy like that to succeed.
Perineal
The diamond-shaped region of the body between the pubic arch and the anus.

Kelly is a good program manager. Steady, methodical, systematic. He's not innovative. In a program like LSU, he'll have better athletes, but he's no Kirby Smart. Apparently, he's no Josh Heupel, either. As of now, LSU people are ok with him, but I would characterize it as cautious optimism.

Kelly's success at LSU will be defined by his ability to churn out top QB's. Obviously LSU shouldn't have trouble recruiting or portaling good QB's....

Kelly's offense is pretty vanilla, but it is solid. Kelly winning 10-11 games in his first year buys him 3-4 years minimum.

They are very encouraged with him beating Bama in year 1 after winning 3 games and having roster exodus.

Of course, they were apoplectic at the decision to go for 2 in overtime before they converted.

LSU fans run hot & cold.

ain't just LSU fans

For them to control their own destiny at this point in the season is really good. Not perfect, obviously, but really good.

LSU is one of the biggest surprises of this season. I thought LSU would go 6-6 and get invited to the Birmingham Bowl.

Admittingly, I was, and may still be a little, in the camp that thought he was a bad fit and should have stayed in the Mid-West. I give him props for electing tome down here a fish out of water. He basically said he came to LSU to be able to beat Saban and who doesn't want to do that. He was 0-2 against Saban at ND.

Having said I thought he was a bad fit, I concede after seeing he had only 39 scholorship players AT LSU when he came in that he has proven to be a coach that can adapt and overcome this season. That's huge having only 39 on scholorship and no noteable QB save for the development and emergence of Daniel. That's 2 PAC12 QB's that came to the SEC this year and done well. Lot of similiarities to UT and CJH this year. No one expected what has been delivered.

THe only thing NIL has done is make paying players legal. THe NCAA couldn't stop it, so they put a mask on it.

My man, go root for LSU. It’s clear that you are the lone Kelly jock rider on here. I just know that I’m in the clear either way. My ego does not need Brian Kelly to succeed at all.
I have yet to say one positive thing about Kelly but I ride his jock?
