During a cut between bonus coverage games on the Deuce, he makes a quip using anchor speak saying the Big East was as good as the SEC. The logic was... Georgia is beating Auburn. Georgia lost to Kentucky. Kentucky lost to Louisville.

And we all know Louisville lost to Rutgers... Six degrees of seperation and the hype wheels are turning.

What a moron. He wouldn't know good football if he saw it. He should stick to Friday Night Fights.

I've been reading a lot of this crap and I agree and disagree. I currently go to University of Louisville and even though my heart is still aching from thursday, I think the cards could beat many a'SEC teams. The big east is strong and I do think the SEC is tougher but some of you need to go see a game in the Ville live.

It's a slippery slop and that never means the truth, don't guess what might be just report what is. The Big East is having a great year, but how many years has the SEC been dominant. I am glad that the Big East is finally feeling what we have for many years and that is teams beating one another. They have three good teams not five in the top 25 this year until then I will give them respect but never the same as the SEC..sorry

I think the Big East has come out and suprised a lot of people this year, but that's not saying much. IMO before this year, was possibly as bad as the 7th best conference in the country. I just think a one-loss SEC, Pac-10 or Big Ten team is more deserving of a shot to play for the national title than an undefeated Big East team.

Everybody has their opinions on which conference ransk where, but the notion that the Big East could step to the SEC is wrong.

Rutgers and Louisville are the only legitimate teams in the Big East. I would put West Virginia in there as well, but IMO they are vastly overrated.

I'm sorry, but watching Rutgers and the Ville play the other night was exciting, but I did not see anything that would make me think they could hang with the SEC. I know L'ville beat KY but come on, it's KY. I hope both these teams end up playing an SEC team in a bowl.

I think Louisville has the best home field advantage in probably the whole country. Big papa's oven is a great place for college football. Granted its not as big as Neyland or at Michigan but it's a hostile environment for away teams. I do hope a Big East team plays an SEC team in a bowl but the proof will be in the pudding and hopefully there will be less idiots talking about giving respect to this team and respect that conference.

That's a pretty heavy statement bro... Louder than Neyland with over 100,000 people? Louder than the Horseshoe? Louder than Autzen? Louder than Death Valley?

I've heard the pizza is pretty good from there.

Louisville was honestly to God rattled on several occasions by the ruckus created by 35K+ strong in Piscataway.

obviously you've never seen or been to a Louisville game because most oppoents are honestly to God rattled on MANY occasions. Don't get me wrong, I was a Tennessee fan WAY before I ever thought about going to Louisville but Louisville is becoming a powerhouse. If any of yall follow Tennessee recruiting as much as I you remember the manchild Peanut Whitehead. He goes to UofL and is a full fleged manchild.
