Brian Williams should be benched

Brian averages the second most rebounds per 40 in the SEC last time I checked right before the game. Just figured I would play some devils advocate

I'm sure he tries hard, and he's come a long way since day one on campus, but I agree. I feel like Pearl is rewarding him for his efforts w/ playing time. However, his skills put him at the bottom of the list. Him, Pearl Jr. and McBee seem to be holding this team back (offensively). Throw in Cam and Scotty not being consistent from game to game, and you've got yourself a long season chalked full of losses.

On the bright side, I think Goins has turned into an amazing player. You rarely see him screw up, and he's been on fire from outside the arc.

Tennessee really doesn't have a quality big man. They have guys that can block a shot, play a little defense and commit stupid fouls.

BW has never shown any raw bb ability or touch around the rim. If you're not getting a big effort to go with that big frame it's a huge waste. He can be a difference maker if he sells out like late in the tourney last season. Back on the weed maybe?

We have absolutely no quality post player. That is the weakest position on this team. Williams, right now, is a joke. Fields is much better, but can give us little offense. Hall looks as if he may never produce. If he can't get in the rotation with what we have now, there is little hope for him.

even if he did that doesn't mean anything if it doesn't translate to the court. Our coach used to run us hard before shooting ft's so we would be in somewhat of a game situation
