Well, I was coming down from the Hill, at the intersection by Alumni Memorial. A black SUV pulls up, Wingate sticks his head out the window, and yells...well, the language would get me in trouble. Just imagine it was offensive.

lol, I know Major pretty well, he is a really nice layed back dude(for obvious reasons, lol.)

I used to cross paths with Major Wingate on campus three times a week. That was a tall man. Very polite.

Was he wearing his spongebob pajama pants?

Major was a funny guy. I knew him pretty well while he was up there.

I saw lots of former players on campus while I was there: Travis Stephens, Jamal Lewis, Donte Stallworth, Peyton Manning, Marcus Haislip, Tony Harris, Jenis Grindstaff, Vegas Davis, Isaiah Victor, Leonard Scott, Deon Grant to name a few. I had classes with Tamika Catchings, she was a business major.

The biggest guy I rememeber seeing was John Henderson at the HYPER. He was/is huge.

BTW - I was at UT from 97-02, AF ROTC, Business grad.

Saw Peyton backstage at a Kenny Chesney concert..he waved at me bc everyone was yelling Kenny's name and I was yelling "Peyton! Peyton!"
