He just had one of his most complete games of the season against Florida. He was running hard up and down the floor and was part of the offense more. When BW is playing well, it opens up a lot more. I wish he would become just a bit more aggressive down low but his progress over the past 2 games is promising.

The announcers kept calling him slow, and yet he stole the ball from the best point guard in the league twice.

BW played a great game. Now that Pearl is committed to him (i.e. more minutes) you can see his confidence growing. He battled on the boards and played all out.

Congrats to the BIG MAN! Hope to see that a little more often!

those two rebounds that he smacked out of the scrum late definitely saved us the game

I am a B. Williams fan. He plays hard and does what he is asked to do in the defense.
He can be even better, when some plays are called for him in the O.

What do you think was going through the mind of Nick Calathes, when Big Brian
stole the ball of his dribble and took it to the hole? Pretty funny when you think about it.

I couldn't imagine Tennessee losing after that play.

I'm glad he's playing like he's capable of. Brian is going to be a stud in the next few years for us.

i have watched NC alot the last two years and he has to be the MOST over rated player in the country. he has "choked" or in my opinion played to his potential twice against us this year.

i have only watched a small handfull of UT games this year, but BW always seems to play his a@@ off. is that a wrong assessment? also noticed today that he has a fairly soft touch on the ball, at the rim.

Brian usually gives a good effort. My only problems with him were lazy passes and his defense, but he is getting better at both.

I have been hard on BW and Tatum this year b/c I believe they have both under-achieved...but I also give credit when due and both of these guys helped us beat the wiley Gators today. thanks guys and go Vols!

I'll agree with everyone on B Dubs efforts. I don't necessarily agree with RTRandy about the lazy passes. I think he is one of the more accurate passers, see the give and go to Tatum against Florida and the run out pass to Chism against MSU.

Three things I would like to see out of Brian.
1. Dunk the ball dude! I have never seen a big man so fearful of dunking the ball. His passing is so good because he probably has catchers mitts for hands, but explain why he lays up everything even when he has great position
2. Quit doing the "hitch". He catches the ball down low and then basically squats down before going up, take it strong.
3. OK, we get it, you're 6 foot 10 and used to weigh 380. Quit throwing the other team around like rag dolls, this isn't sumo wrestling. I figure he has at least one unnecessary foul per game where he just tosses someone aside.

Every time I see Bdub I wonder why he isn't playing Dline for our football team.

I understand what you're saying but there are times when I don't mind having him mixing it up down low.
