I hope so as well. I hope things are different next year. I still believe in Jones, but not a few of the assistants.

Today was a black mark on Jones' resume. Up until now, we beat the teams we were supposed to.

I agree. But I think he is also handcuffed with a few certain players at crucial positions.

The fake field goal call was as dumb as anything I have ever witnessed on a playing field.

Yup, this one's on the coaching staff, through and through. Of course, my knee isn't jerking and remains firmly in place, but this is an eyesore and a half on the Butch Jones report.

We are Bowling if Worley doesn't get hurt.

Maybe, but I have my doubts. There have been multiple instances of boneheaded coaching errors. Not saying its Butch, but at the end of the day, it all falls on his shoulders. Just in this game: That defense on the final drive...pathetic to call that zone there. The fake kick. The run up the gut with 9 in the box on 3rd and 1. All dumb choices that were made on the sidelines and in the box.

Forgot about the run up the guy with 9 in the box. That was horrible.

It was a head-scratcher, but I don't think that cost us the game. And had he made it, we would have won.

Yeah, this one hurts bad. At around the 12:00 mark in the 4th quarter, I knew in my soul that we would lose this game. It felt like Dooley 2.0 from that point on. I've made my arguments, so going on would be redundant, but I know I'm not alone on these sentiments. I just pray we don't let UK beat us because we don't care.
I pray as well, but its all over but the shout'n.

I agree it didn't cost us the game. If the field goal is made, we still lose by 1. It was a comedy of errors that lost the game. Also the defense picked a heck of a time to have the worst drive allowed since the first against them. Just hope people see it's not just the coaches.

I still would have cussed it. It's an extremely low % play. It's like throwing a bomb on 3rd and 1 at your on 20 yard line.

Any call you make in that scenario has the chance to turn into a disaster. Palardy kicking or punting into the wind wasn't ideal either.

I would rather a missed FG, or a punt that goes into the end zone. In hindsight the guy intercepting the pass was as good as a punt. Would have better field position if he just knocked it down.
