Oh mercy.... gule!!!!! 🤦🏼*♀️

I told you🙄.

Down, gule:eek:hmy:.

Just wish it would come out soon. Would love to have Bridget, but don't know who is the best AC out there for this team. Different people have different strong suits; different teams have different needs/requirements. Hoping we get the very best in both areas.:clapping:

She's WAY ahead of you on this. Candidates evaluated, contacted, offer made. Waiting on candidate decision.

You know UTAD never reveals hiring search details. Come on.

If you wanna slam our coach today, say she's too nice for Twitter or you don't like her pants suit or something else meaningful.
Good news I didn't think she had it in her to get organized this quickly. Something meaningful would be the 26 losses Tennessee has suffered in the last two seasons which she managed to accomplish with 7 McDonalds All Americans.

How about the 59 wins in the 2 years before The Diamond Loves Te'a $hit Show? Or did you forget that? The SEC Championships? The National Coach of The Year Award? Forget those too? Come on.

And that means what exactly? According to some posters, good players cannot win with Holly coaching, yet they did so. Thus it was the players. But now, some say that no matter how good players are, they won't do well with Holly coaching. You can't have it both ways. Results have not been as good the past couple of years,so Holly is at fault. So why not give kudos on the first couple of years,no matter whose players were on the floor. All of us should remember that we don't know what went on behind the scenes for the last couple of years. Rumors abound, yet mostly only players and coaches know for sure. So let's see how this season goes.

Yes, that's exactly what I was saying, BENOPIN. I've never asserted on here that HW was greatest coach alive. I just wanted to bring some balance.

Because so many vocal posters were giving her NO credit for the things she did well, they seemed to me to be piling on. HW is a LV legend, a loyal Tennessean, and functioned well in a role that was really a no-win for whomever followed Pat.

HW deserves better than being degraded and made fun of like some SNL skit. Pretty easy to make a target of someone from behind an anonymous keyboard.

I am believing it will be a much better locker room and much better results on the floor this season.

This year should be our first year of actually having 'leaders' on the floor since Izzy/Burdick/Mass. I'm looking forward to seeing some Nared/Russell leadership on the floor. The hype is these 'freshman' want to come in right away and contribute and win and are wanting to 'learn'. Just by words alone, it sounds like the environment is ripe'd to have success.

1CHATTVOL,my question and answer was for Blacky on his post about Pat's players. Tried quick reply, should have used quote. Shows what a novice I am on here. At any rate, thanks for replying and we'll wait and see what Blacky says.p

A former impressive still young guard that has demonstrated the competitiveness and the skills would be a Cappie Pondexter. A younger person with Bridgette's attitude.

and were I recruiting former WNBA players the LV coaches have several individuals who could provide useful input.

I agree with you 💯.
Pat is gone. Pat won't be back as much as it hurts all of us.
There is not another Pat SUMMITT out there I don't care who the coach is they will never be as good as Pat. Careful what you wish for the next one might be worse than Holly.

I don't think there is a coach in the land that coached as bad as HW the last two years.

Cynthia Cooper? Sheryl Swoopes? Amanda Butler? All of which who were relieved of their duties and some being brought up in mistreatment accusations. Oh and although she didn't get fired Joanne P. McCallie went thru some craziness with all her all Americans and transfers as well at Duke. Yes I knowww this is TN but those coaches did not live up to expectations and Duke had just as many all Americans and less quality wins.

Again the bashers don't wanna hear realism. They have their agenda and that's all that matters. FAHR HOLLY!

I am a TN supporter not defender of Hollybthe results haven't been up to par. However I am a realist... this is a perfect opportunity to show she can coach and if chemistry and certain players ( which have been alluded to) were the problem here is a perfect chance to get some good results. Maybe not a final four but a top 3 finish in the SEC and good run in the tourney with a younger team may prove some people wrong. Also a good hire for AC and better ball movement would excite me!

I know we will have 4 freshman with 3 playing a lot of minutes, I do believe by the time the SEC starts the freshman will have matured a lot and will finish no lower than 2nd in the SEC. Holly will have to do her best coaching this year and if she does she will get a contract extension.
