Anybody else going to watch this fight?

Brock was a tremendous amateur wrestler...he's been training to improve his striking and his submission work. We'll see what kind of MMA fighter he is tonight, as he takes on South Korean, Min Soo Kim.

Royce Gracie will finally have his rematch with Kazushi Sakuraba...both guys are over the hill, but it should still make for a pretty good fight.

It's not a great card top-to-bottom, but those 2 fights should be entertaining.

Isn't former NFLer Johnnie Morton also on the card?

Yeah...he's fighting Bernard Ackah...Ackah has a small size advantage, and a TKO under his belt, but he's as inexperienced as Morton. I don't know what to expect from Morton, but my guess is that he's going to get knocked out.

You were correct Jay. Morton got knocked out quickly, and carted off on a stretcher.

That was an ugly fight. Morton had no business getting into the ring last night. He was unprepared and it showed...he's lucky his jaw isn't broken.

For those of you who didn't see the fight last night, youtube.com has the fight in its entirety. It's about 5 minutes total from the moment Morton enters the ring, to his humiliating exit on a stretcher.

Lesnar was solid last night, forcing Kim to tap early in the first round. If Brock can mount his opponent, he's almost impossible to beat. His wrestling is great, and his ground-and-pound is merciless. He may have a bright future in MMA. There's talk of Kurt Angle getting in the mix as his next opponent...I don't know that it'll happen, but if it did, I'd give Angle the advantage in the matchup.

Royce Gracie was very good last night. Sakuraba looked good for about 30 seconds in the first round, but it was all Gracie for the next 14 and a half minutes. Royce is 38 - but he looks great at 183 lbs. and seemed really comfortable at that weight...I think he has another 2 or 3 good fights in him.

I take it that TNA is not working out for Angle.

Kurt's had an interest in MMA for a while now...but in past years, MMA paychecks couldn't compete with pro wrestling's paychecks...now, MMA is getting mainstream media attention, UFC is getting 1 million ppv buys, and fighters are making good money.

He says he probably has 3 or 4 fights in him ..he's interested in a fight with Lesnar, and he's said publicly that he'd like to fight Chuck Liddell. Kurt has wrestled with Lesnar in the past(privately, not WWE), and he always got the better of him..so, I imagine it'd be no different if they fought again. I don't think a fight with Liddell would ever happen.

Angle's a world-class wrestler. He can take anybody down. The question will be, can he take a punch? My guess is that he can. I think he'd be great in MMA.

Not that it matters for MMA purposes, but Angle and Lesnar did do a series of matches in the WWE that were wildly entertaining.

Definitely...Their matchup in Wrestlemania XIX was incredible. Everyone will always remember that match for Lesnar's shooting star press, but it was great from the opening bell to the finish.

Their iron-man match on smackdown was a classic as well. It's tough to work at that pace for 60 minutes, and keep it entertaining...those 2 guys were fantastic.

Angle is one of my favorite pro wrestlers of all-time. He was brilliant in the ring.

I think Liddell would take Angle, if they fought.

I think Angle's too big and powerful for Liddell. Chuck's only chance would be to knock him out, in my opinion.

Once Angle got him on the ground, he'd be too powerful for Chuck to counter. Liddell would have to move up in weight, Angle would have to move down...I don't think it'll ever happen, but it'd be a lot of fun to watch if it did.

If anyone knows, what is Showtime's MMA series called and has anyone heard of a guy that does MMA called Crazy Horse? Now that guy is a showman!
