Tennessee wide receiver Jalin Hyatt and Vanderbilt quarterback Mike Wright have each signed NIL deals with Bose. Bose continues to be one of the biggest players in NIL with deals across college football and basketball.

Does this imply Hyatt will be at Tennessee next year?
No, it just means they would have Hyatt under contract whether he's a pro or amateur.

another juan jennings

Tain't so! Bru is one heil of a WR, no mistake about it. But hasn't shown any Jen-dog as yet. Jennings was, and it seems, still is a Rottweiler-Tosa Inus hybrid. If Bru becomes that, given his size, watch out!

Agreed but that's really dumb on Bose's part. Sure makes you wonder...

A NIL deal shouldn't expire once a guy goes pro. It should function like any other endorsement as long as he's still marketable. Bose is national, so they don't really have to worry about him leaving Knoxville.

Bru, Squirrel and Keyton will make a very nice starting 3 WRs next year for Joe. We’ll probably get to see a preview of that lineup in our bowl game. I think Nimrod and Webb will get in the mix too. I also imagine a couple of pretty good WRs may look at transferring here, heck if I was a WR I would wanna be in this offense

That makes more sense. For some reason I assumed NIL deals would expire once someone is in the NFL.

Luckily a ton of posters here were willing to rush to Bose's defense, so that's good.

The one I’m most concerned about is Omari Thomas. I’ve conceded that Hyatt is gone and we’ll be good at WR regardless. But having Thomas back as a force in the middle of the Dline would be huge.

I haven’t seen his draft projections. I hope he’s back though.

I think it's going to vary widely, too. Something like the NIL deal Fulky had with Pal's doesn't have much value outside East TN. Even if he had pro prospects, I wouldn't have expected that one to carry on. A national company like Bose or the NIL deals with Hooters probably have some sort of component that applies after graduation, or at least it would if those companies are smart.

Unrelated but related, I wonder if the deal Nico signed includes any of his name and image rights should he go pro...

Bru has been a solid guy. Big, sure handed guy with no fear of contact. His body language on the field tells you that he knows he's better than the guys covering him.
