Take spring to heal from what? They’ve only played one game in the last 4 months. If he’s that fragile maybe he should take up Scrabble.
If I had to guess, I would assume surgery, would you expect Hooker to go full speed? McCoy is a very physical player, I would prefer he be ready to hit and be hit before turned loose. I bet he's ready this fall.

This shows an incredible lack of understanding of the game of football. A number of guys each year play through injuries during the season and then have surgeries during the off-season.

Is it just me or is it every spring we always have a ton of guys injured?

its typical to have players get some off season surgery to correct long term or short term issues. When that happens, they miss or end up limited for spring work. I believe McCoy has had a procedure and is rehabbing. Same for Jabari Small. there are others as well.

Says the keyboard warrior who has never played a physical sport. You obviously know absolutely nothing about the human body and what can happen to it.

I assume Small is still trying to get that shoulder fixed. Seems like that has been ongoing for a couple of years.

Some injuries take longer to heal than others. As someone who had rotator surgery almost 13 years ago, I understand this as well as anyone. It took 4 months to get back to my job after surgery, and I can say with certainty, I wasn't 100% when I did. And my surgery was performed by a Dr. at KOC, just like most athletes at UT.

Shoulder problems never really go away. Discomfort always present. Just a matter of degrees.

It is pretty normal for most programs. A lot of older guys take spring to heal and slowly work back in while younger guys get good reps.
Yeah but our recruiting has brought in some talented youngsters who are hungry. Some of these injured veterans better be careful. They might get Wally Pipp'd.

I hate it for him. I’m pretty sure I read that Small really played through some pain for the team last year.
