I Agree:
Lack of depth and athleticism in the post is KILLING us. The lose of Emanuel Negadu and the stupidity of Tyler Smith and Brian Williams is hurting us against teams with depth inside. We also don't have talented shooters with the ability to produce offense on their own, they need to rely on post players to draw the defense inside and leave them open outside. Prince, Woolridge, Mcbee and...... here lately Hopson haven't been able to shake their defenders long enough to get clean shots and are Settling for tougher shots instead. We had the depth to start with but because of Circumstances BOTH beyond our control (Emanuel) and from STUPID choices (Smith and crew) this teams make up is not the same as it was to begin with. Bruce and crew have been able to mask (not hide) the weaknesses but, they are now being exploited.

I don't care if I get crucified for saying this; Bruce Pearl did one heck of a coaching job last night. His defensive game plan ( some credit to the assistants ) was phenomenal. If it were not for the number 1 draft pick we would have beat that bunch. Another contributor was depth but that has been a problem since the suspensions. Call me crazy but I see us beating them on the 27th.

Even in a losing effort, last night was actually one of the team's better performances of the season, IMHO. But, poor shot selections was our downfall. Other than that, i can't trash these guys for that loss, they simply lost to the better team.
