Bruce Calls Out Brandon

I don't recall the whole story but it seems like I remember his show cause was due to lying about the bbq, not having it.
It was a minor reportable infraction. Might’ve cost an official visit.

It turns out Aaron Craft wasn't worth it after all. His college numbers were solid but nothing great.

Not a recent fan, but this is beat of a different drummer stuff.

I'm not mad at any of this but inflation was becoming a problem with or without the Biden stimulus.

I don't know much about this, but what are the arguments that Biden is responsible for gas prices, beyond Keystone pipeline (which isn't actually affecting us yet, right?).

Actually he knew the rule because he had broken it in the past. Self report and nothing happens. Instead he lied and then tried to get others to lie for him
This is accurate, and was even pointed out by the NCAA Committee on Infractions.

A reporter from Wisconsin also brought to light that Milwaukee-Wisconsin had self-reported a violation for the exact same thing while he was there. The stupid part of the whole deal was that it was just a slap-on-the-wrist secondary violation. Perhaps Bruce thought it would be more consequential for him, as a repeat offender? It was still an incredibly foolish thing to lie about. He compounded it with even more foolishness by contacting Aaron Craft's dad in order to "get the story straight," before speaking to NCAA investigators. Who did Bruce think the NCAA had obtained the picture from in the first place? There was a lot of stupidity involved here.

There has been a lot of back and forth in the gas prices thread. Keystone XL would not be supplying crude from oil sands, yet. But some of us believe the hostile rhetoric towards the fossil fuel industry is in play. Biden certainly has appealed to the anti oil faction of his party.
Ironically, there is an existing pipeline called Keystone. Keystone XL was a new route to make the supply more efficient and increase the supply per day. Canadian oil producers are working on expansion of existing lines to dramatically increase oil delivered to US refineries.

Thanks for the cliffs notes.

Yep, all true. Shouldn't have done any of that and because he did he screwed us and himself. Still doesn't negate the fact the UT's lawyers should have told him the NCAA had the photos.
hung his staff out, taking a 900K buyout while his staff had to go Juco route to get a paycheck.

“Besides” the fact that was 800,000 barrels a day shut down with 11,000 jobs and now Biden’s begging Saudi Arabia to boost production 200,000 barrels a day? The numbers are too drastic to chalk it up to inevitable coincidence imo.

That 800k was supposed to be starting in 2023. I'm asking about prices now.

The other argument trotted out is the moratorium on new drilling leases on federal land, which is also a negligible impact. Very little oil is extracted from federal lands, and the executive order only stopped new leases for drilling. It is a largely empty gesture to placate the green wing of his party, as is blocking Keystone. I don't support the moratorium, but that isn't the reason why gas prices are currently high.
