Not a recent fan, but this is beat of a different drummer stuff.
This is accurate, and was even pointed out by the NCAA Committee on Infractions.Actually he knew the rule because he had broken it in the past. Self report and nothing happens. Instead he lied and then tried to get others to lie for him
There has been a lot of back and forth in the gas prices thread. Keystone XL would not be supplying crude from oil sands, yet. But some of us believe the hostile rhetoric towards the fossil fuel industry is in play. Biden certainly has appealed to the anti oil faction of his party.I'm not mad at any of this but inflation was becoming a problem with or without the Biden stimulus.
I don't know much about this, but what are the arguments that Biden is responsible for gas prices, beyond Keystone pipeline (which isn't actually affecting us yet, right?).

Ironically, there is an existing pipeline called Keystone. Keystone XL was a new route to make the supply more efficient and increase the supply per day. Canadian oil producers are working on expansion of existing lines to dramatically increase oil delivered to US refineries.

“Besides” the fact that was 800,000 barrels a day shut down with 11,000 jobs and now Biden’s begging Saudi Arabia to boost production 200,000 barrels a day? The numbers are too drastic to chalk it up to inevitable coincidence imo.I'm not mad at any of this but inflation was becoming a problem with or without the Biden stimulus.

The other argument trotted out is the moratorium on new drilling leases on federal land, which is also a negligible impact. Very little oil is extracted from federal lands, and the executive order only stopped new leases for drilling. It is a largely empty gesture to placate the green wing of his party, as is blocking Keystone. I don't support the moratorium, but that isn't the reason why gas prices are currently high.I'm not mad at any of this but inflation was becoming a problem with or without the Biden stimulus.
