Instead of going to LeBron's Skill Camp this summer, he should have gone to Ball Handling 101.....

As he should. Hopson played like trash today and he hasn't been the leader we all wanted him to be. Instead, he shows up when he wants to.

Inconsistent is being nice. A game-by-game analysis of Hopson would show something akin to a has-been golfer's handicap: 5 games close to par and 15 between 80 and 90. The Handicap is 2, and meaningless. So, in fact, it's the 15 by which consistency should be measured, rather than the 5.

The team was better last year after Tyler Smith's departure and i wonder if the team would be better without Hopson.

Took the words out of my mouth.

Spotty Dropson is the absolute worse "star" player in the entire country. If he is the best we have, we're doomed. Tobias is inconsistent, but at least he has potential to improve. The worse news about Spotty is that he will be back next year.

That was pathetic performance by Hopson. I hate to bring it up but we may miss the NCAA tourney this season after a really great start.

Scotty almost seems like that his brain is telling him to relax because he is a great athlete. Problem is, at this level hes playing against great athletes on the other side.

Hes too relaxed at just about everything he does. To the point where he takes the basic fundamentals for granted.

Isn't this about the 3rd time that CBP has called out Hopson this season? Honestly isn't it?

If so, he's still a few short of what seems to be necessary. Why wasn't CBP calling him out last summer, when something could be changed? Now, its a bit late.

I for one am thankful we have Scotty. Now I see plenty of times his tail should be shown the bench. On days when he is feeling "it", he can take us to beating anyone. On days when he doesn't "OH BOY". Funny thing is the Vandy game last week I will admit I wanted him on the bench after he missed the dunk. He had done nothing to that point and got embarrassed so I figured he would go in the tank. But instead he showed a Scotty we normally don't see, the one that responded favorably to adversity.

if it wasnt for hopson this game would have gotten out of control....why doesnt anyone point to the fact that the so called savor of the program and all-star Harris is to slow to get to the rim on anyone and if he does make it there he is to afraid of contact to try and go up hard with it oh and he cant rebound because right when he pulls it down someone stronger just plucks it away from him......we got alot of work left for this team to get back to where they were..

+1 He had a pretty sad game today, but in the past few he's been playing well. I wish he had been a 3* on Rivals and we would all probably love him. Has real ball handling and hands issues, as has been well documented here. Weird how gifted in many ways, but problematic sometimes in others.

We need him to get into and make any noise in the NCAA.

your kidding me if you take Hopson out of this offense we have no scoring threat besides Tobias. Goins has his nights every 3 weeks, Williams puts up 8 a game and Tatum can't shoot anymore
