I thought this meant that Pearl was going to a professional roast beef eating contest. :) I think he could excel.

Only joking of course.

He's there dreaming to watch with hopes of what he might have next year, which is above average guard play.

At least BP goes out and recruits unlike coach Cal who goes out and buys his or takes their SAT for them.

Don't turn simple light hearted jokes into stupid uneccessary arguments.

Chill.

Besides, Cal doesn't take the SAT for them. From what I understand its WWW that arranges it.

Maybe Bruce can pick up some pointers from the HS coaches. I wonder how many teams has their center shooting 8-10 threes a game?

Did he shoot the ball well today?
Shot well from 3 and can also take the ball to the rack. This is HS of course but this tourney also brings in some great players. His team plays in the semi's tomorrow night so the competition will be strong. Will be interesting to see his line after tomorrow's game.

I thought Golden was a lazy ballhog who played NO DEFENSE whatsoever. He stood around on defense and waited on someone to get a rebound while trying to get a snowbird. He did shoot the 3 ball well and when he decided to play could get to the rack very easy against a very average at best TN High team. In the fourth quarter they let him have the point and he made some very nice moves and either got to the hole or made some nice dishes. He has talent but it was very disheartening watching him guard no one outside the 3 point line. I hope he works harder tomorrow night or Melrose will eat them alive.

Bruce, sign any point guard there!!!!!!!!!!

Chris Jones from Melrose High School in Memphis is a legit point guard, one of the top recruits in 2011 class. I honestly would take this guy right now over any point guard currently at UT. He played a very good game today. He actually knows how to run an offense and is a great scorer when he needs to be. I saw Bruce talking to him before his game so lets hope we can get this guy.

I agree. I was there and this kid has a lot of potential but he needs to work harder. He has no work ethic at all. I saw Bruce getting on him after the game. I liked that Bruce was already coaching him up.

Bruce was getting on him during the game as well. It was something about a stupid foul. I think Trae thought he didn't do anything but I could hear Bruce saying quit complaining you know you committed the foul or something to that affect, I don't remember exactly what he said.

We are recruiting him hard. This I heard from one of his coaches. Kid is as quick as any guard I can remember of late. Knock on him is that he needs to keep his head on straight and nose clean. Apparently does not have much parental support.

I heard their team was doing well. They are stacked. 5-6 D1 kids.
