We are recruiting him hard. This I heard from one of his coaches. Kid is as quick as any guard I can remember of late. Knock on him is that he needs to keep his head on straight and nose clean. Apparently does not have much parental support.

I heard their team was doing well. They are stacked. 5-6 D1 kids.

Yeah they have a lot of talent on that team. We are going after Adonis Thomas as well. I would be very happy if we got Jones and Thomas both in next year's class.

Wow we must be finally learning the lesson to avoid the Selby situation. We already have Ware committed but we want to recruit Jones as well. I am happy to hear it. Maybe by 2012 we will actually have a legit PG.

Bruce was getting on him during the game as well. It was something about a stupid foul. I think Trae thought he didn't do anything but I could hear Bruce saying quit complaining you know you committed the foul or something to that affect, I don't remember exactly what he said.

Note to Bruce, use this same tactic on JP Prince and Brian Williams, and quit worrying about what a HS kid does in a tournament. He can't embarass us on national television yet like the other two morons.

Bruce was coaching? Maybe he has changed over the Holidays.

We need to get Adonis Thomas or however you spell his name lol

He played a great game tonight. Really showed what kind of player he can be, will have a great outside/inside game by the time he gets to college. Someone told me that Chris Jones had a triple double tonight but I'm not sure if that is true or not. Whether he did or not, he played an amazing game tonight. We need this kid badly and I hope we can land Thomas as well. What impresses me about both of these players is that they are very unselfish and they are obviously team-first type of guys.

According to one of his coaches, it looks like Florida is the likely destination for Thomas at this point. Apparently has a close relationship with Donovan.

Who won tonight? I didn't get to go back today. How did Golden play today also? I hope he put out more effort then he did last night. Thanks in advance.

Saw the game last night. Golden made some nice crisp passes. Needs to work on his jumper more, hustle, and play a lil a D(I'm sure that will change next year). He's built solid and I think he could make a good impact for us, he's team is good but he'll be keyed on every night in HS. I told him good luck and I will enjoy watching him play on Rocky Top the next 4 years.

Thomas is pretty fundamentally sound, only had 18 pts Wed and 11 Tues, but he was limited because he was pretty much doubled team down low. He has a knack for the ball, very athletic, and plays hard. I told him I would love to see him in orange and he said he likes them and we are a possibility for him. In the end I told him best of luck wherever you go please and not to pick Kentucky and Coach Cal because he's trouble.

Jones seems like a PG that you need on your team. Just a go getter type of PG that is just smooth and shoots real good for a PG. Makes the team better and always does something to spark the team. He needs to get a little bigger but that will take time. I told him I liked his game. I asked about us and he said he's going to be a Vol when it's said and done, he even told Pearl Tues night that he will be a Vol.

I'm no insider by no means, but I did talk to all 3 of these guys. These kids are liable to change their decisions but all of these guys would be a great addition for us. Lets head down to Atlanta.
