Didn't see this posted..

Bruce Pearl said he didn’t know much off hand about Michigan, but he said it’s a very good shooting team.

“Michigan is a tough team, and a tested team, they make about eight 3s a game,’’ Bruce Pearl said. “I’d say Kentucky is the one team that shoots it as well as they do in our league.

“I would imagine we’ll see some 1-3-1 (zone) . . . and we’ll see a smart man-to-man. (Michigan coach) John Beilein is a brilliant tactician . . . a coach’s coach. It won’t take him very long to figure out what our strengths and weaknesses are.’’

From Scotty
“We can’t afford to look past Michigan; they beat Michigan State twice this year, and that tells you everything you need to know,’’ Vols junior Scotty Hopson said. “But it would be awesome to play Duke; that would be a big stage for us.’’

Here's the rest of the article if you want to read

UT to play Michigan on Friday at 12:40 p.m. GoVolsXtra

The answer is, "All I am thinking about is Michigan."

Saying that isn't going to change the fact that the entire team would love to get past Michigan and have a chance to take on Duke.

Maybe looking forward to the chance to play Duke is the motivation these guys need to stay focused and prepare for Michigan.

Whatever works, I guess. And I guess our streak of not winning back-to-back games has to change eventually, right? Right?!

Why even mention Duke???
Because this is Scotty Hopson. Cannot wit until he is gone. J.P. Prince is the player I could not stand the most at Tenn until Hopson came along. Doesn't "get it" at all. J.P. Princess was just the softest player to step on a court since Vince Carter.

We'll have to play a lot better than we have recently to beat michigan. Need to defend the three and control tempo--which is what we did very well last year. Bruce needs to find a couple of active big men one of these years--would help us a lot.

JP Prince may be a lot of things but soft was not one of them. He played hard and often times hurt.

WTF are you talking about...you've obviously been paying to much attention MTSU lately because you are WAY off

The players shoudl be banned from talking about Duke to the media. The only focus should be on Michigan. If we think about Duke for a second we will lose and our focus isn't in the right place. Nothing tells me UT will beat Michigan. I expect this performance to resemble the 2009 team that lost to Oklahoma State in a close game in the first round, although that team had more heart and talent.

Regardless, Duke will murder Tennessee. The Duke guards will rip Melvin Goins apart and not allow him to penetrate what so ever and keep Tennessee off the offensive glass after all the bricks we throw up.

And both of you obviously know nothing about basketball. He, and Tyler Smith, were so afraid of any semblance of contact near the basket it was ridiculous. I think they each did more pump fakes in one layup attempt then most players going to the rim did over their entire career. Yes, soft.

And I didn't even bring up the fact that he was good for a mental mistake at the end of any close game that almost cost us each close game.

The only thing that made J.P. Prince valuable was his wingspan. Period.

Man, you're off, off, off.

Of all the things JP was, soft was absolutely not one of them.

I find it odd that the players you dislike the most are one of the best players from last season, one of the best from this season, and an 8 time NBA all-star.
