And apologize to the University, the players and the fans for this game. This is the worst game by far in your 4 years as coach. No offensive execution, no motivation, no defensive intensity.

This is by far the worst game you have coached. As a fan and defender of yours there is nothing good to say about you here.

You can still beat Kansas, you could still win the SEC but you are looking more like a piece of copper posing as gold.

Unless Tyler Smith and Scotty Hopson have worse cancer than that which sidelined lofton there is absolutely no excuse for men that talented playing that horrificly.

I agree with everything you say. I love Pearl, but I can't watch this garbage.

we are not winning the SEC, we are not beating Kansas, we make the tourney and get bounced in the first round.

We're going to have 0 quality out of conference wins and won't win 10 conference games. Tell me how this team gets a shot to win one game?

The worst insult I can give Coach Pearl is his team looks like one coached by Fulmer. Pathetic, uninspired, and going through the motions. How disappointing.

USC is not a bad team.

What is on Pearl is not creating set plays that are effective and not being able to find a defensive weakness to exploit.

TN will get destroyed unless they improve. Tyler Smith looks like he will not get to the NBA unless he is washing jerseys.

Bruce Pearl is a guy who I have tried to defend. They can defend inbounds. They cannot do anything against competent point guards. Cannot stop them, cannot defend against them.

I would like a fist fight to end this game. At least for 1 minute TN will show some balls.

If all we are is street ball idiots than I would rather be thugs than weak pansies.

Smith and chism were abused all game. Cousins and P Pat must be salivating.

Idiotic statement. Garrity has changed this team. With washington back they will be decent. Better than everyone else we play OOC except for charlotte and memphis, purdue and kansas.

i agree with everything except the first part.

USC is not a good team. You can tell in this game. It's not like they have played great. UT has played THAT bad. It's horrific.

Some posters have been saying this for a while MHF. They are fed up with the lack of motivation on the entire team.

May I ask "WHAT THE CRAP WAS THAT AWESOME DISPLAY OF BASKETBALL?" I quit watching this game at the 13:00 mark in the 2nd half. It was terrible & USC isn't exactly a juggernaut! :redface:

I miss Lofton and Smith, intensity, and players looking like they give a damn.

I've held hope that Pearl would be able to make an assessment of his weaknesses and address them but I am seeing no such thing.
