the reason they struggled against UGA was becuase they hadn't seen much 2-3 zone yet this year.

WTF?????????????????????????????????

think he said 3-2 zone,,most teams played the 2-3 to try and shut down the inside game.

That is the first time this year and it was smart considering our bigs (Chism in particular) like to play around the 3 point line. An adjustment will be made I assure you.

ok. i have some background noise here.

but still.... we don't do a good job against any zone... or any man to man for that matter.

what are we averaging now... 38% from the field in our last 5 games?

The last five games was a pretty good run if you ask me.... especially considering the handicap we had and the competition we played IMO

38% from the field should be awesome come march.

You must have a different calander than I do..... Last time I looked we were still in January.... I will let Pearl worry about March and I will celebrate January....

nah its january on my calEndAr too. i just like to see improvement from my team... but we're back to our pre KU days.

well I would think dripple penetration is the first step to breaking down the zone, but i'm no coach.

They did alright against Kansas....but grade school/Kansas what's the difference?

I'm not trying to bash but a zone is the most common defense played in youth leagues and the team seems to freeze up against it at times. They settle for too many long jumpers. If the shots don't fall the team will have a hard time winning.

If they beat Kentucky while they are rated #1 along with the beat down they put on Kansas as #1, this Ga game will be lost in most peoples memory. First..... Vandy. :)

u'd think our guys would've been taught how to attack a zone by now.
