Then you need to toughen the Hell up.

Hell shouldn't be capitalized there... Unless that is where you root from. You and MFH were embarrassing on the other thread. This is supposed to be about the basketball, NOT agendas, dude.

This team has been resilient, and it has been duly noted by greater basketball experts than you and I. Just because you don't like the coach, that doesn't give you free reign to be a jerk...

That's just wrong. I didn't find it offensive in the least. If it was intended to be, it was a typically weak effort.

Now, how is it irrelevant? You've transitioned commentary about how stupid a coach sounds when he says something like Pearl's comments and made it about derogatory opinions, which is just wrong. The comment was ridiculous. Our team doesn't know how to attack the center of a zone and we pay for it dearly.

this is so painfully obvious to anyone with just a bit of basketball IQ. everytime they zone us i'm sitting there baffled at why our ball movement is so slow and that we RARELY have anyone in the high post which is the best place to break down a zone D. this has been the case for 3+ years now.

Your opinion meant very little to me. Then, you expressed the fact that losing four co-workers because they were knuckleheads is more than you could handle in life. That's when it became completely irrelevant.

Also, use of the term "dude" indicates you are either 15 or ate paint chips as a child. That probably explains your utter lack of fortitude.

Thank goodness we now have someone here who can tell us what we need to say. We've struggled badly to date.

Don't argue with Prophet Kumbaya. We all need to unify and sings songs of praise to Saint Bruce and his incredibly courageous Band of Volunteers. Those guys in Iraq and Afghanistan could learn a thing or two about toughness from Skyler McBee and Josh Bone. It's amazing those kids are even able to muster the energy to eat after all they've been through.

To answer both of the bullies, "dude" is my favorite word. I pepper most of my writing with expressions that bring it down a notch.

Obviously you haven't struggled to find the words and broken logic (as you so LOVE to abuse that word; treasured by many and bastardized by the few) to argue with anyone that disagrees with you. The escalating level of your rancor makes me believe that you really don't CARE about the topic at hand. We are talking about a game. A game which this team teams has won 83% of the time this year.

I believe in actualizing. You keep fighting, you keep cheering, and you never give up. You both gave up a long time ago. But, you persist in the one exploit that I deem the most unnecessary; being contrary. Whether it be your profession (ahem!) or hobby, it is disrespectful of the most obvious tenant of life - the living....

And so could you....

What a load of crap. I now better understand why basketball is noticeably absent from your repertoire.

Nice use of the term "bully." Says quite a bit about you.

I was a high school AND college athlete. What were you? If you're going to make it personal, then "gloves off" mofo.

a 3-2 zone is not the most common zone run in basketball. You really only see 2-3 and 1-3-1 zones run. Plus Georgia hadn't run that type of zone before this season. It was a good game plan.

His comments on his own level of resilience imply he probably thinks a whole lot of people are "bullies."

UT ran into a hungry team... That's it. It happens. There's only 1 undefeated team. And we're a lot less defeated than we should be....

The 3-2 has supplanted the 2-3 against good shooting teams. Louisville killed us with it.

You would think that since you're all-knowing about basketball, you might have been able to notice that UGA didn't play one second of 2-3 zone. But, of course, you didn't.

I understand you hate Pearl, but the endless bashing of things that you obviously don't understand make you lose credibility. Give credit where it's due, and quit tearing them down in every single post.

Most every team has a rough game on the road during the conference schedule; the real test will be where they go from here and how they integrate Tatum and Goins back into the lineup.

What did you play? I really, really want to know...
Twice All State in my sport. Turned down scholarships at about 10 smaller D-I schools to go to UT because I was sick of playing and realized I wasn't going to make a living doing it. Not really sure how that's relevant to your lack of toughness, but there you go.

Nobody gives a crap about resumes. They are immaterial in this forum. Stick to the point. You're arguing that I'm crazy for questioning this comment from our coach.

I don't argue with you. You just try to get all philosophical pickle with me. I'm asking a direct question. Answer it. What did you do to justify your statements?

The 3-2 is extremely effective when the "gut man" or the middle guy in the 3-2 is extremely athletic. I think Leslie was the gut man for UGA and he was able to double down on Chism when the ball was at the wing and was quick enough to rotate back to the top of the key when the ball was reversed. It's a tough defense that doesn't allow a real easy pass into the middle like a 2-3 does.
