What were some of the up and downs in that one?
Man. Where to begin... Instead of Brian Butler, Pryor had Charlie Batch giving him advice. So, there was speculation about that. His dad is wheel-chair bound so all kinds of people were comparing handicap facilities at each stadium. He said he was going to announce but then didn't. From an Oregon perspective, he always said not to count us out and that he was going to visit. We felt like we had a pretty good shot if he would make it out to Eugene as he kept saying he was going to all the way up to the end. Was fun to follow anyway. Gives a person something to follow during the off-season. If we're not in the mix for a delayed recruit like this, it's going to seem too quiet next year.
Well at least tonight's conversation is better than reading Wheaton's endless ramblings.
And I was just starting to like you for keeping your word to your source...
Lord knows it's better than watching a game in Miami. And who wants to go to Oregon and sit in the rain every week?
It was sunny and warm out here today. Doesn't rain as much as people think and the Summers are really unbeatable.
It could be a bad sign that wheaton is not harassing us tonight.
Do you guys think he's on a Miami or an LSU board?
I was watching that crazy basketball game. My wife is a Syracuse alum. So, it was quite an event.
What's your take on the TCU visit? Find out anything from those guys you can contribute? We may have a common enemy, finally.
I haven't had a chance to read any details on that. I thought it might be some kind of typo or mix-up with another player named Brown.
i have a sneaky feeling that he plans on announcing while he is here...
Someone wrote that a recruit can't sign with staff present. Is that true?
Sounds like we won't be hearing from Wheaton anymore...
I'm here. Just had a busy day with work and then watched the longest basketball game in history.
Not that Wheaton didn't try.
I gave a specific rebuttal and neither Tenacious D nor anyone else on this board has even offered a direct response to it. So, my feeling is that the refutation was complete.
I mean, Tenacious D did come up with quite a few long posts of stats that couldn't be questioned at all...
It is an unquestionable stat that Kobe Bryant is shooting .339 from beyond the arc. But, the fact that it is unquestionable does not mean that it furthers the argument that Tenacious D was trying to make. The stats he has posted are unquestionable. But, have the same relevance as Pau Gasol's free throw percentage.
