Hyams says Bryce will attend the UT game on Saturday.

I'd love to be able to read what's going on in his mind during that game...

Technically, both of them played their freshman season. Brown is a soph at KS State this year. Difference would be Claret sued to go to the NFL after his freshman year, and Brown would sue after his soph. year. Not much difference, and it is a bad thing for CFB.

Why would Brown have to sue? He would be 3 years removed from high school when the draft comes in April.

And why is this bad for college football? You've got universities jumping conferences left and right and coaches jumping ship with greater frequency than that... and all for the sake of money.

Yet when a player that doesn't get paid didldly squat in college makes a move to go pro, all of a sudden, it's doom and gloom? Really?

Really?

Does anybody really think the NFL is salivating right now??? I'll be very surprised if he even gets a shot as as a free agent and in the unlikely event he does, I don't remember seeing one single thing he did that made me sit back and think "that guy is going to be playing Sundays".

How can you not play to potential in the SEC, then go to K State and not make the 2 deep and expect to get drafted? Good luck with that. There are plenty of proven backs in college football who will get drafted and fill up NFL rosters. Does this hurt college football? Not if only a handful of guys do it here and there. Now if everyone tries it, then yes. But the fact of the matter is you need experience at the college level to produce at the NFL level. I think everything will be fine...except for Brown. He will not have an NFL career without committing to proving himself in college ball.

He'll probably make somebody's roster as a practice player and a "project."

Wow he must have been really p.o. at Snyder at KSU.

Nope. I think his father is more to blame for this mess than anyone. All who don't wish
him well have major issues....

Agree with this. Sorry to see so many wishing him misfortune.
