Bryce Brown

Bryce looks to be a stud in the league. Gotta work on carrying that ball close to his body first. They will work that out no doubt

Uh-O...........fumble. Game over. He still played a heck of a game tonight. Last I saw he had 155 yards rushing the ball. I feel like that was his best game of the season so far.

Bryce brown had a hip injury the year he was here not to mention he got a couple concussions. Brown played good for a freshman here .

Good for BB! I hope he does well. If he becomes an NFL great, he will make even more millions off his books and movie deals!

more likely to flake out in a season or 2 ala Vince Young. Does anyone know if cousin pookie is still his agent?

3 fumbles in 2 games. Both games really impacted because of his fumbles, the 2nd game in particular. With McCoy out the Eagles don't have many other options currently but the NFL doesn't forget fumblers and no team wants a main back that fumbles. Time will tell on his worth.

I am a huge Eagles fan and this season is a nightmare. Brown is a solid #2 back but you cant fumble that much in the NFL.

I guess for me it's kind of bitter sweet to see a former Kiffin recruit having success. I was disappointed when Bryce left, but I can't blame him for not wanting to play under Doofus. A lot of people called BB a bust and some said he was the biggest bust in UT history! Well, he is proving a lot of people wrong and definitely making the most of his opportunity. Good for him.:good!:

To heck with Bryce Brown and his "camp" (Bryce, his Dad, and his handler/agent). They successfully made his recruitment a circus, got him noticed as a freshman, then basically refused to play for KSU.

They got what they wanted. They basically circumvented the collegiate game and got Bryce to the NFL to make money relatively injury free.

I can actually see why they would want it this way, but what I don't get is what makes them so special that they don't have to earn it the same way everyone else does.

Is looking great vs. Cowboys tonight. Has scored 2 TD in first half so far. This kid has a bright future. Too bad things didn't work out for him after Kiffin left.

IS there a good reason why I should care about this quitter...?I say, as always, get your heart in Tennessee or get your Arse out....:salute:

It didn't work out because Brown wasn't interested in it working out. He just wanted to get to the NFL as soon as possible (I'll wait patiently for the various "I'd do the same if I were in his shoes" responses). The fact is, some of these kids are happy to play in college and hope for an NFL career, and some are just users who are in it for themselves. Without knowing him personally it would wrong of me to clearly put him in the second camp, but that's what his actions led me to believe.

you r just being a jackazz. It makes me sick and embarrassed to be associated in any way with someone like you. I would bet it had more do with his father than him not wanting to play for Dooley. Also wouldnt be surprised if Kiffin and his dad had an arrangement of sorts that Dooley wanted nothing to do with. Grow up.

Exactly. I was discussing this same topic with a tcu alum buddy of mine the other week. Difference in the type of players that teams like tcu has had to depend vs the ones that teams like UT have to. Hunter seemed to play this yr with saving himself for the nfl. Iirc he even came out and said such at some pt during the season. IMO Poole did this same last yr (got bashed all last season for that opinion too). To many top kids get the "you r going to get paid millions" just based on there talent alone. So they don't want to get hurt. They are different then the talented players that don't have this mentality but want to play now as if it's the last stage of thier career. They do the best they can and work hard and if it gets them the next level then it does. But they aren't banking on it. I think Dooley wanted to go after a lot of the best of these type of guys.

For the record...I don't think hunter started off this way but throw in a kid (his error) and the injury he obviously had a bunch of people pulling him in that direction.
