No one is typing a “cheap comment” and running off. Several people, myself included, responded to you to remark on the exact comment that
@jtipto10 just dissected, which you claim was a fair point. Maybe we just don’t type it as nicely as he did.
Your exact quote was “UK played well but I went away really thinking that if UT didn't have Dalton, then maybe this isn't such a great team.” You didn’t provide any of the context or color that you eventually did a day later, so how are we supposed to know what you mean when your quote reads exactly like a cheap shot to denigrate the rest of the players who made a Sweet 16 last year without DK or even ZZ.
I just think, as
@jtipto10 said, the argument you made is a poor one. You can’t take DK off the team, and I also don’t think it’s fair because I have watched quite a few Kentucky games this year where early on in the season as the freshmen like Sheppard and Dillingham and Edwards struggled and were trying to find their footing in college basketball, Reeves carried that team. I fully believe that if you take Reeves off that team, you all also have several more losses just like if DK isn’t on TN. That doesn’t even account for the value that an experienced player like Reeves brings as one of the only upperclassmen on the team to guide the development of a majority freshmen team.
