I do think there were some questionable calls, but we could have worked through that as we have in the past.
I am not sure about all the fouls against Aidoo but some were ticky tac calls. Maybe my eyes are bad but his last foul was ?.
We need a Terminator on the inside as Aidoo plays too damn soft defensely in one on one situations.
Where is our Thug (Plasvic) or Alexander type player.
This game is over and Barnes knows how to fix this situation but face it when our two dependable bigs are giving up 9 -10 fouls a game it makes you wonder what the issues are.

Or it could just mean more minutes for Mashack & Knecht? I don’t think Gainey getting on track is the difference in this team being a 2/3 seed NCAAT team and being a fringe bubble team/missing the tourney, which is essentially what you just said.

Those 2 are already in a 7 man rotation without Gainey. Somebody needs to add reliable depth shooting from the perimeter. JJJ and ZZZ are streaky. Vescovi still isn’t consistent. Mashack isn’t the perimeter shooter that’s needed. Knecht can struggle versus the high end, long defender. Somebody needs to add another dimension when going to the bench and I don’t expect it will be one of the 3 freshmen guards unless Dilione is healed quickly.
