Bubble Watch Games

IF the SEC gets 4 teams, we have to be #4 now that Alabama lost. I think Ole Miss gets the nod over us, but we are over everybody else in conference. I feel better now than I did last night!

Question is do they take Bama's, UK's, or UT's spot?

I think its possible UK and ut have number 1 seeds in the nit. Definitely think UK doesn't make it because they suck on the rd without their superstar. Ut might still have a chance but they needed help like they've gotten today minus Vandy game.

I said it earlier if you look at the ole miss entire body of work it's horrible just horrible they have to win the SEC tourney to get in...you just cannot wipe away losses to miss state and south carolina

Can you explain your logic here? Why is Ole Miss winning less damaging than the others?

Because beating Vanderbilt isn't a good win, so if they're out, it's unlikely beating a team like Vanderbilt moves you in.

Maryland beating UNC is good win
Alabama beating Florida is good win
USM beating Memphis is good win
UMASS beating VCU is good win

Ole Miss beating Vandy is not good win

at least all the games are on espn and we get home court advantage in that case.. just like last year

OK, thanks.

he straight up threw a 'bow. Even in slow motion to see his elbow go after him like he's throwing a haymaker.

Exactly. It was a rule change this offseason

Don't know if you saw Memphis game but they got Goodwin with that and called it flagrant 1....he was posting up, Hendersons was much worse.

Vandy blowing opportunities....3 missed front ends resulting in 0 points for Vandy. Drive the ball thats 6 points

I've seen it in games all year.

WAY worse, that was the very definition of a flagrant 1 by Henderson. The Memphis one I would have called a "basketball play" but not this one.

I'm not sure why a nice hard foul to Henderson isn't in order, my day and I'm not that old that dude would be wiping blood from his nose or climbing out of the first row. Not kidding, especially after that rooster thing

That is partly why that elbow rule is dumb- judgment call. But we saw it a couple of times when the guy throwing the elbow was pushed by a defender. That is just basketball, I am sorry. If the ref sees it as a regular foul, then so be it.
