Although they finished 1-3 for their last four games up to the loss to MSU, 2 of those were Vandy and Kentucky and the other was UGA, at UGA. The loss to Georgia was by 2 points, the loss to Vandy only 4 points.

The Gators went 7-1 against the SEC West. It is hard to imagine placing MSU in ahead of them for an at large bid. But if MSU wins today, then obviously the window is closed even a little bit more.

I think UF is as on the edge as it gets and it could well come down to a coin flip as between them and a few other teams. If they don't make it in, they have no one to blame but themselves and their continued lack of defense and reliance on the 3.

I think the best argument is if it comes down to Florida and State. 7-1 against the West may trump it. It's going to be close and I think it's going to come down to these two teams.

Luckily for you, Slive seems to like Florida a lot more than State.

I don't mind the SEC doing better, but I'd rather keep Florida out. They've had enough success in the last few years, so I'd be happy seeing them fail a little.

Because I think the greater media will carry it over to next seaso and start viewing us as the Pac 10. Other than that, I couldn't care less.

I agree and it may come down to Florida and MSU. MSU having gone to OT versus Kentucky might push them in over the Gators, which is a shame because its not supposed to come down to the last coupe of days (though if I am in their shoes I am harping on the fact that it proves we are playing the better basketball at the close of the season).
