I see three more big fights: A&M, Bama, Georgia.

If we show up focused each week, the other games are not in doubt. Kentucky, UConn, Mizzou, Vandy, all well in our pocket as long as the lads are on the same mission they were on last night.

Go Vols!
aTm has a great D line but none of their wins have me convinced that they are anything other than Jimbo’s usual. I think we win that one.

Do I believe in our team beating Kentucky? Yes, of course I do. But I'm not forgetting that those guys just whipped the tar out of a Florida team who beat us.

The crowd energized the team last night while at the same time making it very hard for Rattler to operate. Much different on the road in the SEC. If we can win any of those SEC road games left would be awesome. We have to win the home games and the big one is Georgia which I think we can win if we play like we did last night.

That inexplicable loss to a sorry Florida team is going to keep the Vols flying under the national radar for weeks, even if they win. And that's a big 'if'. The Aggies have one of the best defensive lines I've seen in a while, anchored by that turncoat Nolen.

Don't remember who it was, but read a comment by a Tennessee player saying that after Tennessee scored on their first possession against the gators, the team for some reason got it in their heads that they were gonna lose. It seems to me that they talked themselves into a loss. That should never happen.

OP, easy on “stellar defense”. Our defense looked lights out last night because their o-line may be the worst we’ve faced, and possibly the worst in the entire nation. My local high school would have been able to get to Rattler like that! A&M will be the real show-me game.

It’s just a shame that same defense didn’t show up against Florida.

Omari and Pearce were nearly unblockable last night.
USC had 7 starters out and were playing with 2 freshmen tackles. That would be like playing against our scout team.

Focus is the key. Mizzou and Kentucky are both capable of beating us if we come out flat. I agree with you, though, that those games won’t necessarily be four quarter slugfests if we handle business.

4-2 now

We have (in no particular order)

aTm
Bama
Uga
Kentucky
Mizzou
Candy
Some gimme game

I think we split Kentucky and Mizzou, lose to Bama and the chubby puppies

8-4 is my most realistic prediction.

I’d sell my soul if we could be Alabama again this season 😆. They are playing way better and milroe is improving each week unfortunately.
They're actually looking better, and I hate it🤣

Predicting beyond one game is pointless. A&M is up next. I like our chances. They play bama before us and I don't expect them to win. There's and old saying that "Bama beats you twice". Once when you play them and, due to the physicality of the game, again when you play your next opponent. I like our odds.
