Would be interested to know if NBA regular season games get better ratings than regular season MLB games. If so, it can't be by much. That would shock me. NBA regular season games are garbage until the final quarter if it's close.

I am literally one of the few. I can't find anyone that actually will sit down and watch a full nine inning game and actually knows what happened at my age.

My little brother has infinite more options playing in my ole hometown compared to when I was his age in the same town. Youth baseball all up through the high school level is alive and thriving in Middle Tennessee, anyway.

Youth soccer has been thriving all over America for over 40 years. It has meant nothing in terms of the professional sport.

Need to get baseball going in the inner cities. Would be nice if there were incentives for teams to invest in the inner city kids instead of the Lations.

But you usually get an instant replay after every play and there are never times like in baseball where literally nothing happens until the hitter gets a hit, walks, or strikes out. No action if you will...

And not only is the game apparently devoid of action, but A) each individual regular season game is largely meaningless, and B) most of the interesting stuff in the game is invisible unless you know who all the players are. Being a baseball fan requires a much larger investment of attention in all ways than other sports.

Soccer is fun as a kid, but then it becomes incredibly boring to watch as an adult. Plus, they all fall down like they are having seizures.
