Prediction: last lap duel between J. Gordon & Stewart with Jr pushing Gordon to win by a fender after hanging Stewart out to dry.

Stewart says if that's the way it's going to be, he is going to quit NASCAR and start new dirt track series featuring all the open wheel drivers that get let go after failing to make majority of races.

i've been tempted to call his show after his last two Brickyard wins and congratulate him. then ask him when he's going back to get the real trophy at Indy. if he wins it again this year, i will.

Either they keep you off the air if you tell them what you are going to ask, as they do ask, or if you can get on, I bet he gives you an answer along the lines of he wishes he could.

All of yall suck! Smoke will win his 4th shootout tomorrow night!:wink2:

I wouldn't bet against him, but I just don't regularly pull for him. I think he is one of the top 5 drivers as far as ability goes. Possibly the best in versatility in being able to drive anything well. I like the way he doesn't try to be somebody he isn't in interviews. He reminds me so much of Foyt. I can envision him in about 20 yrs being a cranky old car owner throwing lap tops in the pits.

Looks like they just crashed!! Ryan Newman and Clint Bowyer tangled, sending Newman into the wall and collecting Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon. Carl Edwards, Mark Martin, and a couple of others were involved with lesser damage, but Newman, Johnson, and Gordon will have to go to back-up cars.

Their driving pretty aggresive out there. They need to take it down a notch or two, its just practice!
