Buffalo QB Grad transfer

Wow that kid is huge. 55% completion is concerning but he did have Buffalo's WR's to throw to.

I watched him in his bowl game and he has tremendous arm strength. At this point his accuracy down the field really needs a lot of work.

Buffalo does have a receiver Anthony Johnson that will likely be a day two pick in the draft, which is probably more than any UT's receivers would currently be at (maybe Callaway).

That said, without doing/knowing an in-depth film study, his stats aren't insanely impressive vs JG. Sure Jackson has more Passing Yards, TDs and a slightly better runner, but he also attempted 160 more passes than JG, in fact, JG has a higher Yards per attempt and Completion percentage.

As much as I hate JG being our QB, I think we are out of the grad transfer QB game. We have our future QB in Shrout, Maurer, or Bailey. Pruitt spent a scholly on Chryst for an emergency back-up. That’s over now.
I'm quite happy with JG in the quarterback role. He's a clear leader, steady in the pocket, and does make some nice throws. I wouldn't mind seeing him run a bit more however. Next year, it will be great having his experience.

There's not many examples of QBs that tall being good. For whatever reason getting to 6'6 or 6'7 seems to make it harder to throw accurately. May not have anything to do with it but I can't think of any truly successful QBs that tall.

That's the example yer going with? Haha. Can you think of any others. Only ones I can think of that even had moderate success, played some nfl, are him, brock osweiler and mike glennon.
Total joke.........;)

Nick Foles 6'6"????

Yeah, Buffalos talent isn’t holding back his completion percentage. It’s not bad for the MAC.
